When I went back to book that price was gone. It was showing what looked like the same property for $249. So I opted for a 4* at $249 and got the Mansfield.

I already have a condo booked with the extended family for the last weekend in July. I am looking at extending my families stay for 2 more nights, Monday and Tuesday 9/2 and 9/3. We would like to stay at one of the fancier hotels in Lake Placid but do not want to pay for the high prices midweek. The hotels listed in the priceline hotels list are not listed on the priceline site. Any guesses on the best way to go about this. I am interested in the high peaks inn, Mirror Lake Inn Resort and Spa , Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort , Northwoods Inn of Lake Placid, Haus on Mirror Lake

Getting ready to bid but would like some help with strategy. I am looking for 2.5 and above. My preferences in order are MTE, MTW, TS, ESB, MSG, Chelsea I read in the calendar of wins that someone got the affinia 50 for $65. I would love a deal along those lines, hoping to keep my bid under $90. I am going to a convention up in rye brook, ny and will be using grand central to get there via metro north. So if I cant get MTE I would hope to get somewhere near a subway line. Any suggestions for bidding strategy. Thank you and I will book via the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on this site.
