I will likely use the hotdollars to put towards a car rental if they let me. I replied to the email, but they have not replied yet. We don't really need the kitchenette. I mostly used that amenity to correctly guess the hotel.

Upon looking at room descriptions on the Wyndham site it appears as if they may have rephrased the term kitchenette with wet bar, mini-refridgerator.

The Embassy has free breakfast which is not listed on the amenities. So I am thinking it is probably the Doubletree (?).

Thanks for the warning. That helps alot. We were originally going to take the bus from the airport, but now we'd have to walk the 0.8 miles from the E2 bus drop off to this hotel. If it is sketchy, maybe we should just fork out the $60 to take a cab.

Used your link. Was a little disappointed due to location (we are going on a cruise), but the price was pretty good. Was trying to get this done with HOTWIRE, but it appears the number of rooms that they have are now depleted (is that possible). Bid 60 and was accepted first try. Used the PRICELINE link in this forum.

Tried a few times...all rejected at various offers and it was finally accepted at $42 (plus fees) for a total of 54.20. Used the PRICELINE link here.

Tried $38 for a 3.5 star...rejected. Tried $42 for a 3.0 star...accepted. $54.91 with tax/fees. I used the BetterBidding HOTWIRE link for my request.

Oct 5 - Oct 11, 2011 Prices on other sites seemed to be really high...maybe the big state fair football game at the cotton bowl or the star wars convention. Westin Park Central 6 nights $64 per night w/taxes 446.50 best part I saved an extra $9 because of the strength of the Canadian dollar! Used the link from this website to book.

I just found a flight (via kayak) for 161 return (one stop) to Dallas....I'm thinking that this is a good price and that I should grab it while I can. Probably not worth even trying the bidding thing...is it?
