I tried $20 on my first attempt and was rejected, tried $24 on my next attempt and was successful. I got a compact car through Avis and saved $18 a day! I wanted a small car b/c I heard about all those crazy drivers in PR! lol And yes, I put the bid through on Savingsbarn! :)

Try Alamo.com. I just rented a convertible at the Orlando Airport for 9 days for the cost of $188 plus tax. The weekly rate is about $145.

I ended up starting from scratch and got the Sheraton Safari near WDW for $35. I will now be staying there for the first and last night of my trip. ...now to either get a hotel in either Key West or Nassau..... :)

I bid $35 and $40 and got rejected. I plan on rebidding soon. I'll let you know how it goes.

I am looking for a one night (at least 3 star hotel) near the Orlando Airport on Friday, Feb 4. Any suggestions on the price I should bid and the hotels that priceline has in this area. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just found this forum and think it is a great place. I will be a frequent visitor here from now on. :)
