Not the best deal but it wouldn't take any of my bids as high as $62 for a 3*. Finally had to drop to a 2.5* to get a room at a fair price
Of course used the PRICELINE link.
Used the Priceline link to book my hotel. Got it on the 3rd try, started at $40 and kept adding a different zone and increased bid by $1 Works and handy for my business in Tulsa
Started at $45 for a 3* in the SAT area, kept adding zones and bumped it by $2 till I got to $50 then by $1 per bump. Not too bad for the Hyatt. Of course used the PRICELINE link
Trying to get a 3* but ended up with the Crowne Plaza for $55. Not a bad hotel but getting a little older and showing its age. Used the PRICELINE link.
Started bidding a 3.5* @ $45/night. Added a second zone (#4 which has no 3.5*) same price. Added 3* and stayed at $45. Finally added a 3rd zone and bid $47/night Used the PRICELINE link as normal.
Started out at $45 bidding on 3.5*. Added another 2 zones and lowered the bid down to a 3*. Finally accepted at $50/night which seems to be the best I can get in SA for a 3*. Used the PRICELINE link as usual now.
Tried the 3.5* route at $55 and all the way up to $60 and couldn't get anything to book. Finally went back to my old standard 3* at $58 and got the Holiday Inn Airport once again. Not too bad for the price.
Sorry for the confusion as I just wasn't paying attention this morning when I booked the hotel. I am at the SA Airport Holiday Inn Express this time which is a 2.5* rather than the SA Airport Holiday Inn. Overall I would rate this hotel a little higher than the older Holiday Inn but both are almost right next to each other. As they say 6 one way half dozen the other.
SA Holiday Inn Airport again. Older hotel that has not been totally remodeled but still nice. Handy to get around on the north side of SA. $58 seems to be the magic price to always get a room since I can never get $55 to work on a 2 1/2 star or better hotel in several areas of SA. Sorry this hotel is a 2.5*
Always seems to be hard to get a decent deal in SA. Started at $52 in East, added Lackland, went to $55 and added North but ended up working at $58 at airport.
