Used the PRICELINE link - it's available for $153 on kayak, so i saved $8 a night ! yay!

First bid. 55 bid 70 with taxes and fees, kayak shows 104 or 117 with taxes and fees. Probably could have gotten it for a bit less

Kayak.com shows Residence Inn at $179 / my $85 bid was accepted. Initially tried 4 star in Center-Space Needle at $80, then added Lake Union (no 4 stars) at $90 no dice. Lowered to 3 star and bid $70 no dice. then closed priceline, and did Lake Union only 3 star at $85 and got residence inn. Possible I could have gotten it a bit lower, but I'm happy.

Won a 3 star in Philadelphia Downtown for $65 for 12/31 - 1/1 with taxes ends up being $82 USED the better bidding PRICELINE link. Originally was trying for a 4 star downtown or a 3.5 star in University, used all sorts of permutations started out at 83... made it up to 95 and decided eff it, I'll go for a 3 star. Got the Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Downtown. Cheapest rate on the hotels website is $189 per night (before taxes i reckon)
