Thanks for the help. my question is that on Hotels.com the sedona rouge is for the same $173. does it make sense that hotwire is offering the same price?
I am not hung up on the venitian even though I have stayed there quite a few times and was very happy. what other 5* are there that are given through priceline? Also, did they split the strip as far as zones go?
I will be in Vegas for two nights from Jan. 29-31. How much are the 5* hotels going for? I am willing to spend up tp $170. I go every year, and in the past I got the Venetian for about $150.
I don't really have a budget I would spend money if I had to. But as I said I have stayed in the Venetian through priceline and hope I can do it again. Do you have a guess how much I can get it on priceline now? By the way any ideas where else to stay? How is the Wynn?
I am being in Vegas next week for two nights. Can anyone tell me if there is a chance at the venetian for under $125. I tried $110 today and was offerd $198. I will wait till next week to try again but I was wondering if there have been any good priceline catches layley. In the past I have gotten the Venetian foor $110. If not any other ideas for a nice place, even for more money?
I got it!!!! $130 I tried: 110 they offered 144 115 120 130 I had bid twice in the past two days so I wanted one bid still open. The price on there site went back down to 169 and through a special you can get 149 thanks alot
I tried today for 120 and they offered 177. The rates went down to 199, but i guess they are still not giving them away to PL so low. Should I try again tonight or wait till tomorow?
Do you think I should try now or wait a day or two and see if they drop? If you think I should how much should I offer? I was thinking to do 120 and if it gets rejected try agin in a day or two. I was also thinking it would be helpful if when people post their winning bids they post the price that the respective hotel was going for either on the hotel website or other major travel websites to see if it has any bearing on the priceline chances.
I have a bidding strategy which starts at 95. Im not going to bother going up if they counter offer 195 they are not going to accept bids between 100 - 130. I did see bids for 100 - 120 get accepted but not usually when they counter offer 195. its like when they offer 150 you can get 130 etc.. The prices were dropping till last night. I hope they drop more as its now a week till my stay. Unless someone thinks they might still accept a reasonable bid then Ill try. I can always still bid saturday night if I bid tonight.
I just tried my first bid for 95 and was offered 195. I see I missed my chance. I'm really not happy about it. I guess Ill wait it out and see if it will still go down....
The rates just went up from 169 to 219 I hope i can get it tomorow which is my 72 hours. Should I even bother trying tomorow if the rates hold at 219? Oh my what luck I have.
How much do you think I'll need to bid to get it? I think I'll probobly wait because I see that closer to the date they give it cheaper. I might as well wait. No???
Hi there, well my luck I bid starting at 95 up to 120 and they did not bite. The funny thing is that after my first bid of $95 for a 5* they offered me $150. I can get a room on venetian.com with a special for $149... I guess I'll wait three days or bid my last try higher... I did 6 bids I have one left without resorts
