Trying to get the Hyatt in downtown Milwaukee but unable to do so despite three days of bidding so far. Am I too far out ? Aug 21 to Aug 23

2 rooms, one night, $55 final bid per room. 05/22-05/23 Started with $45, did 50 and then got accepted at $55. Thought it could be one of Renaissance, Sheraton or Westin. Hope Sheraton is good. Used the PRICELINE links here, great resource.

5* for 5/19 - is the Venetian. I just booked it for $99 per room for 2 rooms. Anyone ever have any luck getting resort fee waived ? and the other 5* for 5/20 is the Wynn for $108 a night per room for 2 rooms.

I ended up getting the Doubletree Hotel Albuquerque from Priceline for $40 a night for 3 nights. A pleasant stay.

Would appreciate any and all help. Want to book two rooms per night for 5/19 and 5/21. Will have a rental car but still would like to stay in central location. I have heard that both Wynn and Venetian are good choices. I want to make sure my in-laws have a good time - first time for both of them. I was hoping for someplace nice with a pool. Anyway, the two properties I have looked at from HOTWIRE are the Wynn and Venetian. If I look at 5/19 to 5/21 the only 5 star property I see in HOTWIRE for 2 rooms with 2 people per room is $149 per night with total amenities as Resort Suite Casino Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Spa Services Based on reading other messages in this forum I think this is the Venetian. Total cost = $678.19 -------------- If I book only for one night 5/19 to 5/20 - I see this same hotel for $99 a night for total of $230.25 ------- If I look at 5/20-5/21 - I see a hotel 5 star in north strip for $108 per night with for total of $250.04 Casino Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Spa Services This (from other messages) seems to be the Wynn. So I guess my questions to all the wise people here are 1) Have I id'd the places reasonably correctly ? 2) Is it worth staying first at the Venetian and then at the Wynn - this way can experience both ? 3) savings of almost $200 worth it ? Hi, Based on my research on this and other threads, I believe this hotel is the Hyatt Regency. However can anyone confirm please ? I want to stay on 1/16/2010 to 1/19/2010 for 2 adults. Dates are fixed. There dont seem to be any 4 stars available through hotwire on these dates. The amenities for this hotel are : Shuttle, fitness center, pool, restaurant, business center, laundry. There are only two hotels shown rated 3 stars and higher. 3 stars is for $49 dollars. 3.5 stars is for $89 per night. this hotels amenties include SPA, HIGH SPEED INTERNET ACCESS. I am hoping the 49 dollar one is the hyatt but would appreciate any input the members here may provide. This is my first attempt at using this forum. Regards.
