You were correct the 3.5* city center was the vive hotel waikiki. I booked it for 4 nights at $117.25 canadian which is $110 usd.

Thanks. Yes thats what I was thinking fir the 3.5* city center but the trip advisor ratings are higher than they stated. As for the waikiki beach one I couldn't find any more amenities. Thanks for the link I didn't know about it! Ill let u know what I decide

Won this ASTON property for $94 a night on HOTWIRE using the above links. Amenities listed: Oceanfront property Fully equipped kitchen Daily housekeeping Air conditioning Washer abd dryer in room Pool Front desk Laundry Facilities High Speed internet access Golf nearby Free Parking Tennis Nearby Not bad considering its going for $140 on Expedia. :) For 7 days that's quite the saving. Now just wondering about what condo unit they will give me? And if it is dirty/ bad could I change it once I get there? Anyone know?
