Saw Express deal with similar facilities as Sir Francis Drake showing around $129 - $133 Started bidding at $90 and going up $5 each time until $125 over a few days :) . Never got a counterbid during the whole process.
Was just focusing on 3 star and 2.5 star ratings to bid over 3 days. Hoping to get the Fairfield Inn but got a 3.5 star Hyatt Regency Washington DC on Capitol Hill instead. Bids: $96 - declined $101 - declined $106 - declined (offered free rebid at $136) $112 - declined $118 - declined $124 - accepted!
Started at $80 and went up in $5 increments using free re-bid zones, at $100, got an offer to try again if i increased to $120. Slowly went up after this and finally success at $118.
