First 2.5* bid for Spokane Airport zone on 7/25 accepted at $50. Hotel website has rooms listed for $119.99.

I've bid and rebid on this a few times over last month, starting at $70 never going above $86/night. Finally won it on the first try for $81. :)

Thanks for the info about the potential differences in "retail" vs "name your own price" hotels. Ended up going with a priceline retail rate at the Hyatt. I need to be within safe walking distance of the AA Arena and can't risk getting stuck too far N, S, or W of there.

I getting ready to bid on a 3.5 star in the miami downtown market. Priceline is currently showing one 3.5* available in this area for my selected dates. Its the Hilton. If I name my own price at this star level, is there a chance I'll get something other than the Hilton? Is the name your own price bidding limited to what's available or do they throw in other hotels that aren't listed? Thanks!
