  1. This was the first time using Priceline's Express Deal feature and it was a great choice. We booked on the day we were arriving and was tempted by the express deal after seeing the amenities and the price which included breakfast. We don't usually get breakfast as it seems many of our winnings are Marriott properties and do not come with complimentary breakfast. The location couldn't have been more ideal for attending the SEC tournament just down the road. Shopping and plenty of food options just a short drive. Very nice area. The Hyatt Place is an all suite hotel with a nice sized sectional for the sofa, which is great for hanging out and of course the extra pull out bed. We travel with our two teens and use Priceline often. We've never had any trouble with being forced into the double occupancy rule and we make no secret about having them share our room. We have had to make do with a King only on one occasion in all our years of using Priceline. If it becomes an issue, we will book another room. The savings makes the risk worth it. Total room with tax was $73.58.
  2. I have 4 winnings from 2013 that I neglected to post. Should I post them now? I came to post my winning from May and when I checked my past contributions, I realized they weren't all there.
  3. First bid. I was really hoping for a challenge. Now I'm unsure if I should go ahead and add another night or bid again and see what happens tomorrow. Hmmm... I used the PRICELINE link. :0
  4. Started bidding at $38 adding zones and finally reducing star level to 3* jumped from $42 to $47 as I was running out of bids and needed the room for the next night. I did use the PRICELINE link. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $47.00 Subtotal: $47.00 Taxes & Fees: $15.09 Total Charges*: $62.09
  5. 1st bid. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $60.00 Subtotal: $120.00 Taxes & Fees: $27.24 Total Charges*: $147.24
  6. Booked this at the last minute on Friday afternoon for that night. We were pretty late checking in and there were only King rooms available, however, it did have a pull out couch. Since we had two young teens, they offered a rollaway bed for us as well at no charge. We stayed an extra night, but had to use our AAA rate as it was pretty full and we were unable to bid on an extra night through priceline.
  7. 1st Bid Zone 1 (North), 3.5* - $40 rejected 2nd Bid - Add Zone 3 (South) - $45 rejected 3rd Bid - Add 3* - $42 rejected 4th Bid - Add Zone 2 (East) - $46 - accepted Thank you to everyone who posts here for the benefit of everyone. I'm sorry I forgot the price in the sub title. Winning bid was $46.
  8. First bid, $35 rejected, added a second "area" with no 3* option and bid again at $40. Bid was accepted, taxes and fees $12.12. Total paid, $52.12. I booked this same hotel in September and paid $45 a night. That was before I found you. It is a nice place to stay. There are several places to eat nearby and shopping right across the street. The only thing that would make it better is a complementary breakfast of some sort. We travel with two kiddos and it's a lot easier to grab a snack at the hotel before we get on the road again. In my opinion the cooked to order breakfast is a bit pricey for a family of four. I guess I shouldn't be greedy with the money we saved on the room. :)
