  1. Good evening, Pretty happy with this deal! Can't wait to see what this new hotel has to offer! 4 star hotels at that price are pretty rare in NYC in August so I booked right away instead of waiting at the last minute. Amenities : Free Internet, Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Self-service laundry, Internet access As always, I started my research using your HOTWIRE link. Thanks again for everything!
  2. Good evening, Quite happy with this win! :) Thanks again for the great resource that is Betterbidding! On a personal note, please use the appropriate PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to start your search or/and book your room so this great website can still run for the years to come! PRICELINE EXPRESS total price : 1013,95$ for 7 nights Booking direct with the hotel would have cost : 1653$ for 7 nights AMENITIES : Pets Allowed Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool No Smoking Rooms/Facilities
  3. I'm a gold Marriott member and the hotel did put my reward number on my Priceline bought reservation (I can see my reservation on my app). They also provided me with M lounge access for my stay...so I would say, always go ahead and ask for a few perks if you are an elite member of any hotel group.
  4. It was indeed the New York Marriott East Side. Very happy with this deal as there is not a lot of cheap inventory when it comes to 4-star hotels during our stay (except if you are ready to go downtown). Dates : Dec. 15th to Dec. 17th Zone : Midtown East Price : 136$ / night Total cost is 331.38$ USD (vs 641.57$ if I had booked direct...which represents a 48% savings). Amenities : Accessible facilities Business Center Fitness Center Free Internet Free Internet In Public Areas Non-smoking Rooms Restaurant Hotel was booked with the BBHalloween PRICELINE EXPRESS coupon so thank you very much for that! Alex I'll let you guys edit the title of this post to represent my win.
  5. The 500 verified reviews if throwing me off a little bit. The only 4-star hotel that has between 500-599 verified review is the Marriott East side, but I don't know if I can trust this element alone.
  6. Good afternoon, I would need your help to identify this hotel so I could book with your PRICELINE Halloween promo. Dates : Dec 15 to Dec 17 Price : 136$ / night Zone : Midtown East Stars : 4 Amenities : - Free Internet - Gym / Spa - Non smoking - Restaurant - Business Center Thank you very much once again! Alex
  7. The deal is indeed unavailable if I follow the "Betterbidding link", but still appears if I go directly to Priceline. I'll just wait and see if it comes back via the Betterbidding link.
  8. Thank you very much. I've been trying to take the deal, but I'm always late as it always says : "Please note: Pricing and inventory changes often and the deal you selected is no longer available. However, we still have the following deals below." I'll try again once the deal comes back. I'll update you on what I ended up doing.
  9. Thanks for your reply! I dug a little bit more and the only match would be the Renaissance New York Times Square Hotel (the amenities are a match + the 70% off is exactly 70% from the original Priceline price (I know it's not always 70% off the same hotel, but 70% off a similar hotel in the same zone). 131$ vs 444$. That would be an awesome deal. No wonder why it comes and goes so fast. As for your question, I'm looking for a great 4 star hotel (I'm looking for a deal). I saw that the Marriott Downtown was available for cheap on Hotwire and the Marriott East Side is available on Priceline, but I'm for something maybe a bit more trendy than the Marriott (I loved the Hudson, loved the Row, etc). I'm looking to be near Midtown / Central Park South / Bryant Park (so let's say from Central Park to the 34th, between Park and 9th ave. Budget before taxes and fees would be 130-140$ USD / night (which is low right now). I will keep on looking, but if you have any suggestions, please let me know.! :)
  10. Good afternoon, I've been trying to book this deal for the past week or so...but everytime I try (because the deal comes and goes), it says : "Please note: Pricing and inventory changes often and the deal you selected is no longer available. However, we still have the following deals below." I don't really understand why this deal keeps on coming back every 2 days (maybe there's a very limited inventory for this deal?). While we're there, can you please help out identify this hotel? 4 STAR - TIMES SQUARE - THEATRE DISTRICT DEC. 15TH TO DEC. 17TH. 131$ USD / night Amenities : Free Internet Business Center Fitness Center Non Smoking Pets Allowed Restaurant Thank you very much! Alex
  11. Once again, thanks to Betterbidding for giving me the tools to know which hotel I was about to book. :) I would say that I'm happy with the deal (then again, it wasn't a surprise thanks to you)! 12. I'm very happy with this deal. Including all fees... and minus the 30$ "Save Big Hotel" coupon, it came down to 195,16$ total (97,58$ per night) for a room that would have cost 466,90$ (233,45$ per night) on any Expedia owned website. Amenities : Free breakfast, Free parking, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Fitness center, Pool(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Kitchenette Accessibility : Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower Thanks again for the great ressource that is BetterBidding and as always, I started my research using this Hotwire link

  14. Good afternoon, I'm planning a quick trip to NYC in July and I'm trying to identify 2 hotels (no matches in your database) Both hotels are in the World Trade Center - Wall Street Area on hotwire. I usually just post wins in here but now I need your help :). Thank you very much! Check-in : July 1st Check-out : July 3rd First hotel (4 stars) : 119$ (30% OFF) 80% recommanded Amenities : Business center | Fitness center | Internet access | Restaurant(s) Accessibility : Wheelchair accessible Second hotel (4 stars) : 109$ 80% recommanded Complimentary : Free Internet Amenities : Boutique hotel | Business center | Fitness center | Restaurant(s) | Smoke-free rooms
  15. I already booked the Salisbury from July 31st to August 3rd back in March (see this past topic). I wanted to add a night to my stay soon after, but it never worked...so I kept looking for the Salisbury to come back on Hot.wire, which happened today (I knew because of the kitchenettte + other amenities). Let's say I'm pretty happy about the deal. I'll contact the hotel to ask them to merge both bookings (so I don't have to check-out at noon on the 31st and check-in 3 hours later). Amenities : Smoke-free rooms Business center Internet access Kitchenette Accessibility Accessible for hearing impaired Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Roll-in shower Thanks again for providing such a fantastic tool with this board.
  16. My bad for the Amenities. Free parking Free breakfast Free Internet Self-service laundry Internet access
  17. I needed a cheap place to stay to attend the NCAA Sweet 16. Hopefully, this motel / hotel will be okay! :)
  18. Pretty happy with this deal! This hotel seems to have bigger rooms than most NYC hotels (for a regular room) and kitchenette is always a plus! 3 nights Hot.wire Hot Rate Room@ $109.00/night $327.00 Rate for the same room on the hotel's website : $632.70 USD Saved 220,03$ for my entire stay or 34,89%. This forum has been so helpful over the past couple of years for me. Please don't forget to use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.
  19. We decided to arrive a day earlier in Boston (see my PRICELINE thread), but didn't want to pay too much. There were cheaper deals on HOTWIRE so we went with it and got the Extended Stay, which is not too bad. We were hoping for the Best Western Plus New Englander since it's much easier to get to Boston with the transit system, but we knew that the Extended Stay was a possibility. All in all, we're pretty happy with the rate...but I have no clue as to what to do in Woburn itself! haha. 1 night Hotwire Hot Rate Room @ USD 79.71 /night Tax recovery charges & fees USD 19.08 Subtotal USD 98.79 Hotwire Total USD 98.79 Amenities (please add what's missing on the Betterbidding's database) Free Parking Free Breakfast Free Internet Pet friendly Fitness CenterPool(s) Self service laundry
  20. Very happy with this win! The same room is 379,79$ (taxes and fees included) on the hotel's website.
