  1. I started bidding at $64 and added in free re-bid zones. Finally won the Governor Hotel for $68 for which I am excited. I used the PRICELINE link from this forum to start my bids!
  2. I started bidding at $64 and was immediately counter-offered $79, which I refused. I re-bid at $66 and won right away. I am very happy as I have never stayed at this hotel before. I used the PRICELINE link of course!
  3. I thought I would have to bid higher..so I started at $52 and won with my first bid! The Vintage Plaza is nice, especially for $52. I used the PRICELINE link from this website to start my bidding.
  4. Oh, I did use the PRICELINE link. I just forgot to write that down.
  5. I started bidding at $65 for a 4* in Downtown Portland and was offered a chance to add $20 to my bid to try again. I refused, added a free rebid zone and entered in at $68. I was accepted by the Benson! I have also stayed here before and it is a good hotel. The washrooms are a little out of date but everything else seems good....especially for that price!
  6. I have won the Westin before at have quite liked it. I was worried the first time that I had won the Westin because it had mixed reviews on Tripadvisor. However, we were treated very well at the Westin and not like Priceline customers are sometimes treated. The beds are the Heavenly soft beds and we even got a view of the Space Needle! I am very happy to have won this hotel again.
  7. I started my bidding at $70- Rejected Used free re-bid zone Bid $75, Rejected used rebid zone Bid $80 Same $85 " " Bid $89 and was accepted by the Westin Seattle. I used the PRICELINE link from this forum.
  8. You should try bidding again for this area as I just has a priceline win at the Marriott Downtown Waterfront for the one night for $82. I could have probably won it cheaper but I was expecting to pay higher and had started at 4* and added in two rebid zones and then downgraded to the 3.5* and won immediately at the $82. Good luck!
  9. I wanted to extend my stay in Portland for one more night and had previously won the Hotel Fifty. I tried to use the add an additional night through Priceline for my previous win price of $70 but it was a no go. I bid again using this sites PRICELINE link and ended out with a different hotel that I have never stayed at before and which doesn't seem to get won very ofter...the Marriott Portland Downtown Waterfront which I am quite excited about. :)
  10. I used the PRICELINE link from this forum to start my bidding. Initially, I tried to win a 4* for the same dates but went up to $95 and didnt win anything using re-bid zones. Then, I closed my bidding window, re-opened a new window with the sites PRICELINE link again and pressed in Portland Downtown and the first zone which doesn't have a 3.5 star and bid for a 3.5 and up. I won with my first bid of $70, so I probably could have got it cheaper. I have stayed at this hotel before and quite liked it so I am happy.
  11. I had some bonus cash from the Entertainment Book that I used (was worth $10/night) so I ended out winning this nice hotel for $107. I tried to use the PRICELINE link from this website, but the email I got from the Entertainment Book wouldn't let me link from here, sign in and accept the bonus cash...I had to use the email link. I added in several areas in Paris and came up with the Marriott Rive Gauche. I have stayed here before in Paris and thought it was quite nice! The rooms are large and the hotel itself is quite close to a Metro station.
  12. I won the Marriott Hotel Maida Vale for $89. I had to add in several areas including Marble arch, and Kensington. I hope the hotel is nice! I used the PRICELINE link from this website.
  13. Well after bidding unsuccessfully for the last couple of days on 4* and *5 in Amsterdam for June 5-7th, I finally had some success! I had bid up to $100 on a 4* and wasn't having any luck. I knew I could get a 4* from HOTWIRE for $105- $109 so I was keeping that in mind. However, I won the Hotel Okura Amsterdam for $115 per night. It is a bit far out from the center (it is listed as Museum Quarter, City Center) but it looks like a tram stops right outside of the hotel. I used the PRICELINE link from this website. =)
  14. City Centre - Museum Quarter, Dates June 5th- June 7th Amenities listed are Restaurant, Business center, Laundry and Hi Speed Internet. The price showing is $109. Would this be the Golden Tulip? Thanks for any help...I of course intend to use the HOTWIRE links. I tried to bid for these dates at $69 4* in the City Center but was rejected but offered a counter at $107, which I refused. Because of the lack of bidding areas, I could only put in this one bid and am just checking my options before rebidding or just buying outright on PRICELINE.
  15. I used the forums PRICELINE link to start bidding, plus I had some bonus cash. My bid of $101 plus $2.50 bonus cash was excepted after a couple of cheaper tries. I was hoping to get it for $89 like some other users, but my parents are leaving so quickly that I didnt have a lot of room. They are really happy with the win!
  16. I used the forums PRICELINE link and starting bidding at $60 working my way up to $71 in random increments while adding bid areas. I won the Seattle Westin for $71 eventually. I have won this before and thought that the hotel was awesome. It had gotten some bad reviews before on Tripadvisor but I'm really not sure why. We had an awesome view last time overlooking the space needle and the bedding was super soft. I am looking forward to staying there....I hope I like my Portland hotel as much!
  17. Used the forum PRICELINE link. I have been trying unsuccessfully for a couple of days to win a 4* in Portland for $50-73 but stock must be low. Today, I tried 3.5 stars starting at $50 and working up to $60. I was expecting the Marriott Downtown and instead got the Hotel Fifty, which I don't see on the list of current hotels yet. Hopefully it's nice!
  18. I used the boards PRICELINE Link and won the Seattle Westin for one night...I was hoping to get the Hyatt at Olive 8 again but no luck. Hopefully, the hotel is good! Thanks again to this forum.
  19. I used this boards PRICELINE link to make my purchase. I started at $42 and worked my way up to $55 which was accepted. I am looking forward to the Benson...it looks great!
  20. I used the forums PRICELINE link to Name my Own Price. I started at $60 and added in various districts with a mind of getting a 4* in Pike Place. I got the Hyatt at Olive 8, which looks good according to reviews...it's number 4 in Seattle! This is a great website and I have learned a lot from it. I intend to use this website and post as much as possible!
