  1. Started out for the 4* Hotel and Bid $65, rejected added 3.5* bid $67 accepted at Marriott City Center. Looks very nice from website.
  2. Again decided to try priceline very last minute (the day of) to see if there was some deals in Spokane. First tried to bid $47 and Priceline came back and said if I increased my bid by $13 I could rebid. Increased by $13 and got the Doubletree City Center for $60 with two double beds. The room location wasn't great (we had a view of the roof) but the amenities were awesome! They just remodeled and they have a really nice new outdoor pool and hot tub.
  3. I was planning on going to Spokane, and already had rooms booked at over $85/night at the Courtyard. I decided last minute to try Priceline and my price was accepted @$47 for two rooms. It was a nice hotel too, and well worth it!
  4. I used Better Bidding's hotel list and noticed the LaQuinta Midland was listed. It went down from a 2.5 star to a 2 start as I started the bidding at 2.5 stars and was rejected. I ended up receiving the room for $35 per night! My grandmother is thrilled to be staying in a hotel for 12 nights at 1/2 price!! Thanks Better Bidding!
  5. I started my bidding out at $55 for a 4* hotel in Portland for 1/4-1/5 got rejected, added Clackamas raised bid to $59 for a 4* hotel, I was rejected again. Next, I added Jantzen Beach and raised my bid to $69 and was accepted at the Benson! Remember in Portland you have a lot of bidding opportunities for a 4* downtown because there are not 4* hotels in all of the regions.
  6. This $101 may seem high for downtown portland but I think there is some event downtown. I tried $59 first, got rejected, added Clackamas went to $81, got rejected, Added Tigard went to $95 got rejected, finally added Jantzen Beach and bid $101 and it was accepted at the Westin in Downtown Portland. With 4* Hotels in Downtown Portland there are a lot of rebid opportunities, I checked all of the other areas on priceline and the only area to bid on a 4* hotel (at first) is DOWNTOWN Portland. This can change so be careful, but there are a lot of opportunities to rebid in Portland for a 4* Hotel!
  7. The date of my stay was Thursday May 26th-Friday May 27th; I had a great stay, the staff was friendly and helpful. They also had a 24 hour complimentary business center!
  8. I needed a place to stay for a job interview in Kent close to the site, first bid was $35 and it was accepted! The lowest price for a room on the hotel's website was $119! Now I don't have to fight Seattle traffic in the morning. Thanks better bidding for saving me hundreds of dollars this year! I will try to support your sponsors whenever possible.
  9. I selected a 3* area in San Francisco Fishermans wharf, put in a bid for $59 and received the Hyatt for 3/4-3/5. Looks like a nice property, only drawback is that parking is $34/night.
  10. I am staying at the Benson January 3rd. The hotel was very friendly when I called to request a non-smoking room.
  11. I made a bid on priceline for $49 for a 4* Portland Hotel, that bid was rejected, I then added clackamas which does not have a 4* Hotel, I raised my bid to $59 and I am staying at the Benson, GREAT PRICE!
