  1. Back from my stay. It was a very nice hotel, well worth the 4*. Very large bedroom, large bathroom. Good cleaning staff. Large flat panel TV in the room. The quality of the Room Service food wasn't great, but it was acceptable. Parking was $25/day in the hotel, with in/out privileges. This is better than some other hotels in the area, and quite acceptable for Toronto. $16/day parking is available a very short walk away. I would stay there again.
  2. Thanks for the information. That makes sense. I'm still satisfied with my $110 rate, since I'm saving a lot over people who reserved without Priceline and it looks like a great 4* hotel.
  3. I don't get it, I bid for the weekend just before see "Marriott Toronto Eaton Centre" priceline thread, and had to pay $110. Did I do something wrong? Or just got unlucky with the dates? I'm satisfied at $110, since it's still a good price. Just wondering if I could have done better.
  4. Came to this website, looked at recent prices for 4* hotels in downtown Toronto. Used your PRICELINE link. Bid on zone 5 (Downtown Toronto South), 4 stars, $70 -- Refused. added zone 4 (Downtown Toronto North), upped to $75 -- Refused. added zone 1 (no 4 stars), upped to $80 -- Refused. added zone 2 (no 4 stars), upped to $85 -- Refused. added zone 3 (no 4 stars), upped to $90 -- Refused. added zone 7 (no 4 stars), upped to $95 -- Refused. added zone 15 (no 4 stars), upped to $100 -- Refused. added zone 14 (no 4 stars), upped to US$110 -- Accepted!!! Not as good as some other recent 4* Toronto wins, but still a great price for what looks (on Google) like a great hotel.
  5. I researched on this site first for the going rate, and then I used your PRICELINE link. July 17, 2010 to July 20th. I bid $70, Zone 4 Downtown North, 4* only. Refused. Added Zone 5 Downtown South, bid US$77, 4* only. Refused. Added Zone 1 Brampton, bid $85, 4* only -- accepted by Sheraton Center! Total cost: US$300.75 with taxes and fees. Convert to Cdn at 1.04, makes Cdn$104/night all-included. Not as good as the price I got 7 months ago for this same hotel with PRICELINE, but still very good for a 4* in Toronto which I liked a lot last time I was there. And it has cheap underground parking across the street. Thanks for a great site. Good luck in your bidding guys! And use the PRICELINE link to support this site.
  6. Back from my trip. This was a great hotel. Valet parking is very practical, but expensive ($35/day, with in/out privileges). But there's no need to use it. Parking at The Bay, right next door, is $10/day. It's accessible underground from the hotel, but not very obviously indicated. Recommended hotel.
  7. I used your link to PRICELINE. Was hoping for the 4* Sheraton Centre (Downtown South), which I got in Dec.2009 for $60/night. Picked 4 stars, for Fri. Feb 5th 2010 to Mon., Feb. 8th, 2010, and: I bid $60 for To downtown South, refused. I bid $65 and added Toronto East, refused. I bid $70 and added downtown North, accepted by Marriott Toronto Bloor Yorkville. $70 for a 4* seems to be what others have been getting, so I'm OK with it. Never been there before, hope it will be good. Thanks for a great site!
  8. First post ever! I used your site and PriceLine for the first time ever in October. Liked it so much that I am using it again now. This time I decided to register and post the info, to help others. I made sure to use your PRICELINE links to give you credit, since you've already saved me so much money. I can't believe I'm getting a 4* hotel in downtown Toronto for US$60. FYI: I bid $60; Toronto; Dec. 4/7; Zone 4 only; 4* only. It accepted my bid on the first try.
