  1. I try to use your link to start purchases but on the road I am using an Ipod touch on sometimes very slow wifi- is there a mobile version of better bidding that is easier to navigate on the "tiny screen?"
  2. Amenities were: Restaurant, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business
  3. We booked the Belvedere in Times Square-Theatre District for 159$ per night (plus about 35/night in Hotwire service charges) July 29-31 for two adults, two children with same amenities as listed in your list. We paid an extra 25$ / nights for an "executive room" which was really nice. Never saw the regular room, but we were very happy with the room, amount of space, amenities and location of this hotel. To save some money we stayed the night before and the night after at Hampton Inn Yonkers and left the car there in their free parking. We took the MTA train in from there and then back after our three days in the City. Worked out pretty well.
  4. We booked a 2 1/2 star hotel in Glens Falls NY for one night August 4th for 2 adults, two children. I think it was 89$ with amenities: pool, business, internet and restaurant. It turned out to be The Howard Johnson TIKI resort. Funny place, not sure I would recommend for a vacation but it was okay for us as we were just passing through. I can't remember if we booked through your link- sorry if not. Seems to be a hotel that has not yet been reported.
  5. Crowne Plaza Hotel Melbourne-Oceanfront 3 1/2 star Check-in Date:Sun, Jan 17, 2010 Check-out Date:Mon, Jan 18, 2010 Amenities Beachfront, Airport Shuttle, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-speed Internet Access Used your link, of course.
  6. Just booked Crowne Plaza Hollywood Beach, for Jan 9th-10th, listed as 4*, Amenities Resort, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), High-speed Internet Access, Golf Nearby Thought it would have been one of the Westin hotels because it didn't say "near beach". Good price though, and just one night, so not a big deal. Used your HOTWIRE link.
  7. Just named $60.00 on first bid for 1 room for two nights Sat 19th dec- Monday 21st and bid was accepted. Checked with the hotel and they have me booked for a two double traditional room, which is good because we are travelling with the kids. This board was very useful for setting a price and being pretty sure what hotel I would get. Still I am surprised at the great deal! Thanks.
  8. You can cancel that request. Thanks anyway. I booked through Priceline at 60.00 and got the Sheraton for those dates. I will post on the Priceline forum. I did use your PRICELINE link- so all is good.
  9. I've always got the Sheraton before but with the change to the "review" info now I'm not sure. For Dec. 19th- Dec 21st I searched for two adults and two kids Downtown Toronto West 4 stars 79.00 Amenities: Fitness, Pool, Rest., Business, Internet Recommended in 85% of customer reviews Then if I search for just two adults (kind of academic since we are bringing the kids) Downtown Toronto West 4 stars 86.00 Same Amenities: Fitness, Pool, Rest., Business, Internet But Recommended in 90% of customer reviews Any experience yet with using these % based stats on telling the four stars apart? Thanks
