  1. With the taxes and fees, the $97/night option is more than what TI offered me to book directly. I am going to keep searching for another hotel. Maybe I will skip Las Vegas this time around!
  2. Okay I am going to see if the $97 is TI. I do not want SLS or Luxor. :) Wish me luck. :) I will report back. I am using the BiddingHelper!
  3. 4* Hotwire Easy View Las Vegas North Strip $81 FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Resort, Casino, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby 2 adults 11/27/15-11/29/15 (*Also interested in the South Strip hotel if it is not the Linq!!! 4* $80 FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Resort, Casino, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Spa services, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower) TIA!!!
  4. I used the same bidding strategy as before for my trip 3/6/15-3/11/15. I used Price.line after clicking on the links here. Selected Walnut Creek - Concord - Lafayette Zone - Bid $57 rejected Selected Rebid zone Antioch - Oakley - Pittsburg - Bid $65 rejected Selected Rebid zone Martinez - Bid $77 accepted Room subtotal: $385.00 Taxes & fees: $68.20 Total charged today: $453.20 I won Hilton Concord, one of my favorite properties in the area. I have stayed here multiple times over the last few years. They now charge $15/night parking fee, so I will be skipping the car rental. They do have a complimentary shuttle from BART Concord that I may be able to take advantage of if I get back in time. The shuttle ends at 11 p.m. and is based on availability. I am happy with the win. The cheapest advanced purchase rate is $140/night for this time period and this trip would have cost me $793.03 with taxes!
  5. Can you identify the following hotel? I used the link on this site to access the $20 off $200 hot deal. 94596 • Mar 6 - Mar 11 • 1 room • 1 adult • 1 child Hot Rate Hotel Walnut Creek - Concord - Lafayette area Show map 75% recommended $91 ǂ $66 per night Book now Amenities Free parking Free breakfast Free Internet Pet friendly Fitness center Pool(s) Business center Self-service laundry It looks like the Extended Stay America in Pleasant Hill on Buskirk, but that is listed as 2.5*. Thanks! Laura
  6. I was hoping for a different hotel, but I am still pleased with this deal (even if it means a longer walk) as it is $199 a night for my dates 5/23-5/25! Tried Disneyland - Anaheim Convention Center - Garden Grove, Bid $55 Tried Anaheim Hills, Bid $65 Tried Angels Stadium Anaheim, Bid $70 Tried Seal Beach, Sunset Beach, Bid $75 Tried Cypress, Bid $85 Won at $85 bid! Total with taxes = $202.30. I'm going to Disneyland!
  7. I tried this for the last few weeks, but I finally got a win! Selected 3.5* Walnut Creek - Concord - Lafayette. Bid $75. Offer not accepted. Was given the option to bid $89. Passed. Added rebid zone Antioch - Pittsburg. Bid $76. Offer not accepted. Added rebid zone Martinez. Bid $77. Offer accepted. Room Subtotal: $462.00 Taxes & Fees: $74.10 Total Charged to Card: $536.10 Please be aware that the hotel charges a $10/night self parking fee and a valet fee of $18/night. First three hours of self parking are free. This is a new policy. Parking was always free before. I am pleased with this property. It is the one I was aiming to get. Rack rate is currently $130/night. I used the PRICELINE links from this forum to start my search.
  8. Yes, I was! I disabled it for BiddingHelper.com.com and it works. Thanks!
  9. I used the PRICELINE links here on BetterBidding.com to start my search. I bid $65 3/12/12 - 3/14/12 for the Walnut Creek, Concord, Lafayette Zone, rejected. I was asked to raise my bid to $81, declined. I added the rebidding zone of Martinez and raised my bid to $70. It was accepted at the Hilton Concord. I am VERY happy with this win. Even with the ongoing construction, this hotel is centrally located to where I need to be. It has a lot of nearby restaurants and free parking (from what I remember). It is currently going for $169+ per night for these same nights. My total was $166.98: Room Subtotal: $140.00 Taxes & Fees: $26.98 Total Charged to Card: $166.98
  10. I have been trying to use the bidding helper in both firefox and explorer, but after I click the search button, nothing populates below except the header. Am I doing something wrong?
  11. Used Priceline search tool to begin purchase. 3/10 - 3/11 Started out with 4*, bid $77, rejected Added 3.5*, bid $65, accepted Crowne Plaza Concord Room Subtotal: $65.00 Taxes & Fees: $15.94 Total Charged to Card: $80.94 I have stayed here before. I find it acceptable at this price. Not the nicest location, but honestly I don't mind it and it is only one night!
  12. I used the PRICELINE search function for two rooms 3/11-3/12 for Napa, CA. I started out with 4* Napa zone, bid $77, rejected Added 3.5*, bid $67, rejected Added 3*, bid $57, accepted Best Western Premier Ivy Hotel Total for two rooms including taxes and fees = $138.48. 13. I searched using the HOTWIRE link above for a hotel in Walnut Creek, CA for 3/10 - 3/14. There is one 4* coming up with the following amenities: Price: $115 (It says SUPER SAVINGS, was $196) Amenities: Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s). Business Center, Spa Services Ratings: Recommended in 95% of Hotwire Ratings. 4.5/5 on Trip Advisor Distance: .6 - 6.5 miles from zip code 94596 Does this seem like the Lafayette Park Hotel? Thank you for your help!
  14. Thank you. Incidentally, Expedia Unpublished Rate is showing the same things. I know they are affiliated with HOTWIRE, but is there a benefit to using one over the other?
  15. I used the HOTWIRE link and got the same result. I also saw a 5 star hotel today resort, casino, fitness, pool, restaurant, business center, high speed internet for $389. Thanks for your help!
  16. $288 - 3* South Strip - Casino, Restaurant, High Speed Internet, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby Anyone have a guess? I can't find ANYTHING on the strip, so I might bite on this deal. The problem is it is REALLY expensive and I can't get out of going on NYE now. I also have to find a deal on club admission so if anyone has any tips, let me know! Thanks!
  17. I am seeing the following two rooms on Hotwire for the Old Town Scottsdale region for tonight 11/13/2010: 3.5* - smoke free, fitness, pool, restaurant, business center, high speed internet, 85% recommend - $59 - 2 adults 3* - suite, smoke free, complimentary bkfst, fitness, pool, laundry, high speed, golf nearby - $87 - 2 adults Also, in the general Scottsdale region: 4* fitness, pool, restaurant, business center, high speed internet, golf nearby, tennis nearby - $79- 2 adults Can you please help me identify them? Thank you!
  18. I am fairly certain this is the Best Western Meridian Inn and Suites, which is actually in Orange, CA. The reason I say it is that I ended up with this hotel and had to contact Hotwire to change it (yes they do it on a case by case basis). I think they changed one icon from when I booked (my girlfriend also booked here the following week with her family). Hope this helps.
  19. Thanks.
  20. Can you please help me identify? 3*, Anaheim-DL South, Complimentary Bkfst, pool, bus center, laundry, high speed internet, golf nearby, oct 11-15, 2 adults, 1 child, $99 Thank you!
  21. This request is different from the original request, which is why I put it under a different topic. I was initially looking for the one listed at $42 with only a pool. This one is $46, pool + restaurant. So, why are these combined? I thought they were supposed to be under different headings. The reason I am asking is that I have another request, but I am hesitant to post it because I don't know whether or not to post it here or under another topic. It is for the same dates...
  22. Can you help me identify this property? 2*, pool, restaurant, $46, Oct 11-Oct 15, 2010, Anaheim-Disneyland North, 2 adults, 1 child Thank you
  23. Used the HOTWIRE link to conduct the search. It looks like I was wrong, it is a 2* (not 2.5*) with a pool in the Anaheim-DIsneyland South area for $42. The only amenity listed is a pool. It has 75% positive reviews. Thanks.
