Through a series of different people/computers/zones we were successful on our 5th bid. 2 rooms - 4* - July 13 - 3 nights Bidder 1 - Midtown West $150 - rejected Bidder 2 - Midtown West $160 - rejected Bidder 1 - Midtown West/Upper West Side $175 - rejected Bidder 1 - Midtown West/Upper West Side/Upper East Side $185 - rejected Bidder 3 - Midtown West $195 - accepted 2 rooms @ $195 x 3 nights = $1170 Taxes and service fees = $208.50 Grand Total = $1378.50 FYI - best rate I can get from The Muse directly for same time is $1605.98...total savings of $227.48. Not the most awesome savings in the world, but sure beats a kick in the teeth. :)
The 3 Star with amenities: Suite Airport Shuttle Restaurant Pool Fitness Center Laundry is the Sheraton Suites. I got it for $41, I'll have to post taxes, etc. later because I don't have that printout with me.
