  1. Hi All I was able to get the Crowne Plaza Miami International Airport for $70/night for two nights. It was a good hotel with a great location close to the airport and the room was well kept and the facility as well. Thanks Anel
  2. Changed my search are and now I'm looking in the Dadeland area for a 4* so I would welcome tips on bidding strategy and also what hotels would fall into that category there as I don't see a 4* in the Priceline hotel list. Thanks again.
  3. Thanks, I will not pursue this option given additional parking costs and recent bad reviews. I'll look other areas and I'll open another post if required. Thanks for all the help.
  4. Sorry for the late rely but I didn't want to risk it and ended up booking the Hotel Florida next to the Milano Central station and took the Malpensa Express to the airport.
  5. Sorry for the late reply but I didn't go through with the bidding because the plans were cancelled.
  6. Hi All I tried the Priceline re-bidding strategy for Downtown Miami yesterday up to $85 and could not get a win however when I saw today Express Deals from Priceline I see a deal for $97 in Downtown Miami with Pool/Business Center/Fitness Center listed as the amenities. Any help ID what hotel this is? Thanks
  7. I'll try PRICELINE and let you know what I get.
  8. Thanks for the advice, I'm willing to go above $100 based on your feedback about resort fees and others. Any ideas of the most common 4* that go lately in Priceline.
  9. Hi I need help to find a good deal on Vegas Strip from the 27th of Dec to 30th of Dec. My budget is no more than $100/night all included. What are the options in the 4* range for north or south strip. I can get Circus Circus & Stratosphere for $66 & $97 respectively but want something better. Thanks.
  10. I just booked the Comfort Inn Gunston Corner in Lorton Virginia. I've had success in the past but never @ 40 so I tried starting at $40 and got i right away, I wish I would started lower but it's still a good deal to spend a couple of days near family. I used the PRICELINE link.
  11. After a few tries starting @ $50/night I got the Gran Sol Melia Golf Resort in the Rio Grande/Fajardo area for $80/night for 3 nights Oct 17-20. Kept trying by adding other areas (except) San Juan as they don't currently have resorts. I consider this is a good deal for the location, I've been there before being a local and their facilities are great and also near great sights like El Yunque and Reserva Cabezas de San Juan. :D
  12. Thanks to both of you, yes I was checking for 2 adult/2children so it seems is the Novotel. I'll try with PRICELINE to get a better price and I'll use the links provided and will post my results later. Thanks again
  13. I need help identifying this Hotwire 4 start hotel in the Milan Malpensa Airport. It's offered at $82 dollars for the night of Aug 4th with the following amenities. thanks :D Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities (self-service) High-Speed Internet Access Free Parking Free Internet Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Handicapped parking
  14. Thanks, you're right. It is a 2* property and I'm glad I could contribute and payback for the good service this forum provides.
  15. Hi I wanted to share my bidding experience with the Comfort Inn Gunston Corner in Lorton VA for the weekend of 6/22 for 3 nights. I checked first in Hotwire and I saw only one option for $62/night and I figured it had to be this hotel since it's the only one in the area and it fit the description and amenities (free WiFi, free Breakfast, pool). I started my bid at 45 but it was rejected and then increased to 50 by adding the Woodbridge area as I could compromise adding 10min to my commute to visit the family plus the hotels in Woodbridge were teh same or better. That second bid was also rejected so the next next day I went for $55 and I got the room so I was happy to save $45 when compared to their std rate. The rooms were ok, not bad not great and the breakfast was decent, the only issue I had was that they did not replenished shampoo or soap, maybe to save on cost so I had to ask for it in the lobby. Regards asandova
  16. Here is an update No Resort Fees Parking - ~17/day Room was great as well as service
  17. Hi My cruise is in May and I was able to book the Hyatt Place Airport North on a priceline bid for $52/night. I really wanted this specific hotel for the location and it includes breakfast. You need to chose Ft Lauderdale Downtown and 3 starts and I suggest you start around $50 as I got mine for pre/post cruise for the same price with the first try.
  18. I was able to get the Hyatt Place Ft. Lauderdale/Airport North for $52/n for May 20 & 21 of 2011 with the first bid. These are great hotels with cozy feeling, nice room and free breakfast so I'm glad I got what I needs. :)
  19. I wanted a resort in the Rio Grande/Fajardo/El Yunque area hoping to get El Conquistador. I started @ $85 without luck, then added the Humacao area knowing there are no current Resort offerings there but that didn't go through either and then bumped up to $105 by adding Cabo Rojo for the same reason as before and that went through. I got the Gran Melia Golf Resort which is great too. I think is a good deal provided their online prices are over $200.00 I'm not sure of any surprise fees (i.e. Resort Fees) so any feedback on what fees can I expect is welcomed. :) Dates - 1/2/11 - 1/5/11.
  20. Hi: I'm looking for 1/2/05 to for 3 nights. I was trying hotwire and is giving 107/night (Westin or Wyndham, I don't know, both are good) and I'm also bidding on Priceline but I've offered 80 & 85 and both were rejected and I ran out of options to add that don't have resorts so I can re-bid. The next want I don't mind adding is Ponce but I don't what resort they maybe offering there. Thanks for your help, great site btw. Rs Anel :)
  21. Hi: I'm looking for a hotel in the Rio Grande-Humacao area for Priceline but the list of hotels in this website does not include hotels in that area. Does anyone has information of recents priceline bids won for that area? Thanks. Rs :) Anel
