Hotwire was offering a 4* in the Riverwalk South and Market area for $169.00. It showed it to be a Best Value and the amenities listed were: Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center and Hi-Speed Internet (in that order). It listed a "D" for the area Details. It showed it to be rated 4 out of 5 stars by over 120+ customer reviews. Thanks to you Betterbidding I was able to figure out that this was the Westin before I purchased it (I specifically wanted to stay at the Westin). Your website offers such an invaluable service to those of us who are picky and money conscious, thanks again.

Yeah, I guess I should have added the amenities. The amenities listed were: Resort, restaurant(s), pool(s), fitness center, spa services and tennis nearby. The place was absolutely beautiful ! We couldn't have been more thrilled. It was probably one of the fanciest places we've ever stayed. All rooms have a balcony that overlook the ocean and the rooms are gorgeous (and nice sized) with a very comfortable bed.

I just booked a 3.5* room via Hotwire in Galveston offered for $88.00 for January 8th, 2005. It turns out that it's the San Luis Resort. We are leaving on a cruise the next day (the 9th).
