Hi, Newcomer to this site, just wanted to say upfront it looks very impressive and very informative. I want to use PRICELINE to bid for a room in Miami. Looking for 4* in the Downtown Area Dates 27th December - 1st January inclusive. Budget is $100 - $200 per night. Hoping not to get the Hyatt, simply based on Tripadvisor reviews. Any assistance/advice for my bid strategy, as I've never used the site before, would be greatly appreciated. Also I'm bidding out-side USA, (Northern Ireland), assume that's still ok using the dummy state and zip codes explained in other posts. Also had a question about Priceline, I've been reading the posts about starting out. They mentioned that "once a bid is accepted the room is yours", do you have to accept it or can you still pull out ? Is there a way of trying to determine the hotel your being offered before you confirm, thinking of the listings that are displayed and the educated guesses you guys make. Thanks Hez
