Great minds think alike. :) The Holiday Inn Airport West is right across the street and they have shuttle service. I called them and asked if you need a reservation to use the shuttle and they said no. I didn't mention I wasn't planning on staying there. I did call the hotel for the cab rate and was told about $20. The Holiday Inn also lists $20 as the cab rate from the airport.

Won on first bid of $28. I was hoping for something a little closer to the airport. This property does not provide shuttle service and is outside the airports paid shuttle range. Cab is $20 :)

Thanks for the info. I did email PL about the Loew's Parlor rooms and they won't even answer as to whether a sleeper sofa is considered bedding :) I think I might just bid the airport area.

I am thinking of bidding the 4* DT zone and this property has me a bit worried. I have gone to several other booking sites and the only availability that any are showing (including Loews) is a Parlor room that has a queen pull-out sofa but no other bed in the room. This hardly qualifies has a 4* room in my opinion. Do you think I could possibly end up with this room or would this be considered no availabilty? Also, I see you were able to find parking on the street. I'd like to stay downtown but also do not want to pay the high prices to park. How easy/difficult is it to find street parking on a Saturday morning?
