  1. It's called "Anaheim - Disney North area hotel" The other question was regarding priceline and I thought I had to keep PRICELINE and HOTWIRE questions separate. Sorry about that. I can put them together in the future - I was just trying to be clear. Unfortunately it's not coming up at that is time so it's either take/full or the price has changed. I'll look later to see if I can find it again. I'm not looking for a specific hotel - it's more that I don't want to pay a $15 "resort fee" that will put the cost over the price of a non-PL express deal.
  2. I was just trying to ID the properties in the express deal. One has a hefty "resort fee" and that would cancel out the savings of doing the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal. 10/5-6 Disneyland area 3.5 * $75 Free Internet Swimming Pool Pets Allowed Fitness Center Restaurant Business Center
  3. When looking at the list for PRICELINE EXPRESS deals some say that there is a resort fee for specific hotels. Does this show up in the hotel description for the express deal or is this just for our information before arriving at the "won" hotel? In other words, is it something to help ID the hotel?
  4. Extended stay is just 2 stars, right? I can't find any 2.5 with kitchenettes.
  5. Disney North area hotel 3.5/5 recommend. Free Internet Free breakfast Free parking Amenities Kitchenette Pet friendly Pool(s) Self-service laundry 2.5 stars. $60
  6. updating- Yes the hotel is the Best Western Tuscan Inn. The price went up slightly due to me waiting a day (had to wait for confirmation that all our ducks were in a row before booking due to the non-cancellation policy). BUT, not bad at all $212 a night, Taxes/fees $149.18 = $782.18 for 3 days at the wharf.
  7. Did it the way you said... Amenities: Free internet pet friendly boutique hotel restaurants high speed internet accessible for blind, deaf accessible paths, bathroom, in room accessibility handicapped parking roll in shower. That's all that is listed. ideas?
  8. hot Rate Hotel. 3.5* 100% recommend. (staying 8/22-25) Going for $207, non-refundable. Free Internet Pet friendly Boutique Hotel Restaurant(s) High-Speed Internet Access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility
  9. Used the PRICELINE link. We're going to Medieval Times this trip, so we wanted to be more on the Knott's side of things. first bid of $51 was accepted. Room Subtotal: $51.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $13.96 (USD) Total Charged to Card: $64.96 (USD) Thanks.
  10. I don't think you would have gotten cheaper. I'm still trying for the same dates. My last bid was $69 and not accepted. Off to try over $70 tomorrow.
  11. First bid of $65 accepted -- Westgate Hotel. Like always, I wonder if I should have bid lower :) Used the link, as always, and happy to get this hotel. A low price almost makes the $28 parking ok.
  12. I don't know about that far out. Pricing for the next few weeks in under $100 if you directly through thier site. I think it was $77 for queen with AAA. They charge $20 for parking (or $25 for valet). The place dose look very nice.
  13. You can also look at recent wins to see what has been 'won'. I've noticed many SD hotels do charge high parking rates. I'm looking at the same date as your first dates, but without kids this trip. The Old Town Inn has some good prices right now and Hyatt LaJolla did too --- a lot will depend on what area you want to stay in. For this price, you will have pretty good selection.
  14. Holiday Inn And Suites Anaheim Disneyland - Anaheim 1240 South Walnut Street Bid accepted: $63.00 Taxes & Fees: $15.54 Total Charges*: $78.54 This hotel charges a $10/night resort fee. We stayed here recently and it was ok. We did like the kids eat free for breakfast (I think for all meals but we only did it in the morning). Used PRICELINE link from here. We started lower but this was the best I could get.
  15. Yes, we used the PRICELINE links. Overall, we were very pleased. The first woman we spoke to when we came to check in early (just to let them know we were in the area because we'd not be returning until after 10pm), was quite rude. But, when we returned at night, the man at the desk was super friendly. The rest of the staff was friendly. The hotel was clean and ran nicely. We ate breakfast in the dining area and were pleased. Kids eat free was a bonus. Not walking distance from Disneyland and the shuttle is extra. I'm not quite sure what the "resort fee" covered because pretty much everything was extra.
  16. First try was for garden grove area (3*) for $45 - denied. Expanded area to Disneyland-Anaheim Accepted $45 -- With tax $58 (not including the $10 "resort" fee) We've not stayed here before and I'm a little nervous based on reviews but it's just a place to rest our heads for 1 night.
  17. Tried $58 and not accepted. Finally got something at $61 which is good b/c I was getting worried. I'll try to edit the first post. Hilton Suites Anaheim/Orange Disneyland - Orange - Garden Grove 400 N State College Blvd Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $61.00 Subtotal: $61.00 Taxes & Fees: $14.91 Total Charges*: $75.91 I think this one has a parking fee too.
  18. Trying to get a room in either the Anaheim or Orange/Garden grove area at a 3.5* - 1 night, 1 room. Started yesterday at $37 with 1 zone and then rebid with another zone AND increased to $40. No luck. Today. Bid first $43 (denied) and then rebid the other zone and increased to $45. No luck. Any pointers or suggestions? I don't want to be too far from Disneyland or in a shady area. This is the first time I've had any problems getting a room quickly. (we have passes and parking and come up often. I don't want a hotel that on the dirty side since we normaly have 1 child on the floor (on blankets or sleeping bag). (sorry I can't figure out how to edit the title)
  19. Used the PRICELINE link from here. First bid on Disneyland (Anaheim) and was denied. Retried by expanding to Disneyland- Orange - Garden Grove and accepted. We've used this hotel many times before and even though we have parking on our passes, it's nice to not have to deal with the parking lines and to use the shuttle. The parking lot can be crowded if you arrive at night/evening but otherwise it's fine. Total with the fees is $53.59 for one night. We are booking pretty last min so it's nice that we got a place we're familiar with.
  20. 3.5* Orange County (Disneyland-Garden Grove) Crowne Plaza Anaheim First offer for Disneyland area was $38 and rejected. Second offer - expanded area and upped price- immediately accepted. $45/night $12.95 tax/fees Distance isn't an issue for us since we have passes w/parking. used like from the site.
  21. Just following up. The hotel was GREAT! The staff was wonderful and the best $40ish I've ever spent in the area. I hope to get this hotel again on future trips (they do charge $14 parking but really it was ok)
  22. first bid accepted $38/night Red Lion 1850 South Harbor Boulevard 2 nights - 10/16-10/18
