Got this on first bid; I've done this particular bid before at $65, lowered the price to $60 and they accepted. Wonder how low they would go?

Tried $70; got offer to raise to $91. Added Quail Springs @ $75; rejected. Added Edmund @ $80; accepted.

I'd bid for this zone previously at $52 and got a 3 1/2* hotel; did the same thing tonight and got a different hotel in the same area. Used your PRICELINE link to start my bid.

Bid $45, rejected, with offer to raise to $59 right away. Expanded to Atascocita and raised to $48, rejected. Expanded to Humble and raised to $52, accepted. Thanks to other bidders who posted; it's a big help to know where to start.

Tried San Juan resorts for $95, rejected. Tried San Juan resorts + 4* for $110, accepted.

Originally I tried for 4* DFW Airport North - $48 - which was rejected, but got an offer to raise the bid to $58 immediately. Since these 4*'s typically charge for parking, I switch to 3* in DFW south. Park Inn came up on the first try. Since this is listed on the BB Hotel List, it was exactly what I expected. Thanks for the bidding help! Oh, and of course, I used the QuickQuote link to get to PRICELINE. Thanks again!

Tried for 2.5 stars, $50, in Round Rock - no dice. Since I'd looked at the Austin hotel list and saw nothing below 2.5 stars, I decided to add 2 star to the bid so I could just bid a bit higher. Got Extended Stay America - not on the list! - at $60 - which is a dollar higher than list price through the priceline site :-( Not a very good bidding experience. I haven't been impressed with Extended Stay America in the past, but hopefully it will be OK.

$60. Tried Downtown, 4 star @ $60, no dice. Went to 3.5 star and done!

Bid just got accepted for $135 for 5* only on Las Vegas Strip North. Original bid was for $125 for 4* or 5*, $125. Was not accepted, but they countered with "Bid $155 now and you'll probably get it". I waited a day, changed to 5* only and $135, and was accepted. Thanks, everyone, for posting results - it helps all of us do a bit better.

My bid on this hotel was successful the first time. Saved 50% on my original plans (Hawthorn Suites), which is farther out & not as nice. Looking forward to a great hotel!
