4 star superior room, started slowly, hotel In the SPANISH STEPS area, looks like a good deal, Started from BB site.

Saved $200 a night, thanks Priceline!!(and BB)

Happy with the deal, there was a 4 star available for slightly more, but it had a $30 resort fee.

Finally resolution, after 1 month of waiting Hotwire has refunded my money and gave me $100 in HOTWIRE dollars for my trouble.... GOOD GOOD NEWS when a company owns up to a problem and fixes it! Thanks BB (and HOTWIRE)

The hotel was shown the email of the booking, which they ignored and said take it up with hotwire, in the meantime they extortrd my 19 year old son and his cousin for the 2 nights...I was furious and was in no mood to speak to these crooks (Hotwire should drop this hotel)...

Just returned from Milan trip, the hotel didn't have room available but upgraded me to a suite (very fair and appreciated) still waiting for a response from Hotwire regarding my son's 2 nights (aug 25th), I guess I could call the Hotel, but why should I?, This should have been resolved within a day. When I used priceline last year and the hotel bumped me to another hotel, priceline refunded all of my money within days(I stayed for free)....that's a big difference!!! I think I am going to try the priceline pre-negotiated deals when I have no success with bidding. Thanks for listening

Hi, any luck dealing with Hotwire customer service, on a previous purchase for my son the hotel charged him for the. 2 nights, that was 2 weeks ago? I'm starting to think Hotwire is a poorly run company with little or no customer service! Is there a forum I can post on?

Ripoff!!!!!! The price ˆpaid for the hotel was less then $10 then Expedia (Expedia included breakfast!!!!!). I have serious concerns with Hotwire, their customer service is a joke...they can all be replaced by robots!!! Priceline always listens and is fair.... I am officially never using Hotwire again!!!! Been bidding all week, finally got a 4 start at a reasonable price. Started at 120 CPS, then $130 Midtown East, then $140 Midtown west. Been low balling all week, didn't come close, had to up my bid since the date was upon me (and my wife was worried, it was her trip). Worked out, I am happy, great hotel, great price, used the PRICELINE link. Thanks

VERY POOR DESCRIPTION!!!! Trastevere/Pisana is a charming part of Rome, the Hotel is in an industrial part called Aurellio ( on a busy street). I am a frequent Hotwire/Priceline customer and know the rules, after checking the map this does fall in the green zone, BUT if you go by the geographical description (and research all the 4 star hotels) the hotel is pretty far away from Trastevere. I feel like I've been baited and switched, customer service says there is nothing they can do.......Warning about HOTWIRE use at own risk (I've had issues with Priceline in the past and their customer service is 100% better).......Any suggestions??? Thanks for letting me vent.

Just won 3 nights sep 28/oct1 at beverly Hilton $100/night, i am happy with this price, started just hollywood 4 star at $95 then added beverly hills/hollywood
