  1. Thanks for the recommendation, we will check it out. I was hoping for a Coastal or Gaslamp property so I was a bit disappointed with this (especially after reading reviews, Yikes!), but we will see how it goes. You just never know what you'll end up with, which is part of the fun! :D
  2. Using your link started bidding at $73 in the coastal zone adding to it $3.89 per room/per night bonus cash. Added Downtown and bumped bid to 76, rejected. Climbed to $100 using rebid zones available. Since we needed so many rooms for this Graduation/Memorial weekend I am content and hopeful that we will enjoy this property. Thanks for the board!
  3. We ended up staying further south than the Hotel Zone properties available on PRICELINE and HOTWIRE, at the Costa Sur Resort.
  4. Thank you for the speedy reply! Not sure if we will grab this or book something down in the Romantic zone. I will update if we purchase this. Using your PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links, as always, for searching and purchasing. Thanks again!
  5. Two people, 1 room traveling 2/23/12 to 2/24/12. Four stars, $59, 95% customer recommended, Amenities: resort, beachfront, Fitness, pool, restaurant, golf and tennis nearby, children's activities, Business center, Internet, spa services, laundry facilities The golf & tennis nearby made me think it is not the Westin, any thoughts?? Thanks!
  6. Ok using your link we went ahead and booked this and it was The Baymont Inn and Suites. Here is the final fees: Hotel Rate per night:
  7. Please help identify this resort: one room for two people, 12/9 - 12/12, $29, Disney Main gate-Celebration area hotel, 3stars Recommended in 80 % of Hotwire customer reviews, resort fee Amenities: Smoke Free Rooms, High-Speed Internet Access is this the right area for proximity to WDW Resort or are we better off paying more for a room in a different area? Thanks so much!
  8. Using your PRICELINE link i Bid $65, got the Marriott Mission Valley/hotel Circle. Looks like a nice place. Thanks for this great forum, you guys are so helpful!

  10. Started from your PRICELINE link, bid $79 rejected, offered to go directly to $99 but I decided to see what would happen if I continued the bidding. Added civic center bid $85, rejected, added fisherman's wharf bid $95 accepted. Total $117 Thank you for this helpful site! :)
  11. Don't see either of these on the list ... 3 people, Aug. 31-Sept.3, 4* Boutique, Fitness, Restaraunt, Business, Wifi, Spa 95% customer recommended for $159 3 1/2* fitness, restaraunt, business, laundry 90% recommended for $106 As before, trying to get closest to UPenn and now that they have combined City West and University City, I assume this is the best category to look in. Also wondering if it is too risky to book for 2 people, banking on two double beds???? As always, using your PRICELINE and HOTWIRE link to look. Thanks for your help!!
  12. Thanks for the help! Ended up getting the Radisson Warwick on lastminute since HOTWIRE did not have it. It had these amenities but I got it for a different date then we were talking about and for 3 people (Oct.14-17th) for $88. Wanted to close this thread and thank you for the help. Still looking to get closer to UPenn but will start another post. Appreciate all the help!!
  13. Can you help identify this property?? Looking at 2 people for Aug. 31 -Sept. 3 Philadelphia Center City East 3 1/2* No smoking, fitness, restaurant, business center, internet 95 0/0 recommended $88 I am thinking it's the Radisson, what do you think? Trying to get near UPenn (if you have any ideas let me know) but I don't know of anything else. Thanks for your help!! Debbie
  14. That is GREAT information to have, I will remember it for next time. Thanks for all of your help from the board!
  15. So right you were!! 3* City Center West was the Sheraton City Center Hotel. At $75 it's not a bad buy, but I was really hoping it was the Sheraton University Center and when I put in the exact address of UPenn it gave me the 0.0 - 1.2 miles away from your destination and when I google mapped City Center it came out to 1.9 miles apart leading me to believe it might be the other hotel ...Wrong! Just an incorrect mileage I guess. Hopefully it will be a nice property since now we will be taking a taxi from there. Thanks for the help. Of course, used the HOTWIRE link from this page.
  16. Trying to identify hotel that is Center City West, April 15-18, 2 people. I put in the map for Univ. of Pennsylvania and the hotel came up with: .2- 1.7 miles from your destination, 3* $75/night No smoking, fitness center, pool, restaraunt, business center and high speed internet. Any ideas??
  17. Went in through the link on this site, started at $60 and used all four re-bids up to $82. Closed browser and started again but Priceline would not let me re-bid. Closed entire window, started over again and still would not let me re-bid. Am I doing something wrong, I have not had this happen before.
  18. Our dates are April 15-18. I would like to spend under $100/night if possible at a 3 1/2*, it's just my daughter and I so we don't need incredible amenities. I have noticed that there was a win on PRICELINE for a hotel at Penn that would be perfect, but as you say there is no way to know. I have not figured out the correct placement on a HOTWIRE zone yet. Thanks for the help.
  19. We'll be arriving the 15th, checking out the 18th. One room, 2 people, we don't need 4* (actually the highest looks to be 31/2*!) just whatever is most convenient to the University as we'll be there for an on campus event. Thanks!
  20. We need a hotel near University of Pennsylvania. Am I better off using the University area on Priceline or the downtown Philadelphia area?? Thanks for any advice!
  21. March 10th-14th. Started at $56 using link from this site. Re-bid using re-bidding zones 4 times and got up to $86. Offer accepted by Scottsdale Resort. Details: Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $86.00 Subtotal: $344.00 Taxes & Fees: $55.24 Total Charges*: $399.24 Thanks for all the guidance. Would never have known how to do this without this site. You guys are great!
  22. MTE, MTW, BTS, CPS started at $160 added re-bid zones until I reached $212. Actually meant to stop but input one more and they took it (sounds ridiculous but bid when your kids aren't around, they are too distracting). Hope it was a decent deal. This is an excellent site with so much information, thank you!!!!! W New York Hotel 541 Lexington Avenue New York, NY 10022 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 3 Room Subtotal: $636.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $130.77 (USD) Total Room Cost: $766.77 (USD)
