  2. I was bidding for 3.5* hotels in USW, USE, FW, FD Japantown, Marina, South of Market for a week. Happened to check out PRICELINE EXPRESS deal and nabbed this deal. Read in tripadvisor that the hotel is undergoing upgrading so may encounter some renovation during our stay. Thank you for this forum.
  3. I was bidding diligently for a few days and checking a few websites for hotel deals in San Diego. Managed to nabbed Embassy Suites by Hilton San Diego Downtown for USD89 on Expedia. Appreciate the help.
  4. I will be bidding only for Gaslamp Quarter South - Convention Center not Gaslamp Quarter. Thanks.

  6. Hi, Thanks for the help. After trying for a few days and stopping for a few days. Started re-trying recently and managed to secure Holiday Inn Kensington Forum for US128 per nite using PRICELINE link. Was hoping for any other hotel chain rather than Holiday Inn chain but still glad I use PRICELINE link.

  8. Hi there, I understand that this is a difficult period to get good deals for hotels due to NYC Marathon. I currently have a cancellable reservation at a 1-star hotel in MSG area. I have tried bidding on 3stars to 3.5stars to the amount of $170 but no wins yet. So, I'm currently considering whether bidding for hotels in Brooklyn will be a better alternative. Please advice.
  9. My heart-felt thanks to this board. Bid via the PRICELINE link for a 6 nights stay in NYC. Got the New York Mariott Marquis. Won the bid at $160. Many good reviews on tripadvisor stating excellent location and rooms. However, I'm slightly worried about the tipping portion. Some reviews were saying that front-line staff seems to be wanting tips for doing nothing. Oh well, I still happy that I won the bid.
