Was only bidding in this zone for 4* and up.  Initial bid of $161 was rejected.  Second bid of $172 was accepted after a short delay of a few minutes.  I assume Priceline had to contact the hotel for some reason.  Used the Better Bidding PRICELINE link.

Was targeting Marietta.  Started at $49 and raised the bid a few dollars at a time by adding other Atlanta zones with lower than 3-star offerings.

Amenities shown on PRICELINE EXPRESS included Free Internet, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, and Fitness Center.  At $135, its 20% off the best rate offered on the hotel website.

Hotel amenities were just slightly different than posted on this board's list. For me, they were: free internet, parking, pets allowed, restaurant, business center, gym/spa (instead of "fitness center").

I was bidding for a 4-star in West Hollywood, using the non-4-star areas of LA for free re-bids. Starting with $108, I was rejected, and I raised the bid each time by $4 until $120 was accepted by the Andaz. This price seems to be a bit higher than other wins posted that are near my dates, but mine does include a Friday night. The hotel website's lowest rates are $196/night and $236 on Friday (an average savings of 42% using Priceline). Total taxes and fees added by Priceline was $81.04. I booked this the day before this post (9/15), and I did use the PRICELINE link from the BetterBidding website.

This was the hotel I was hoping to get. Thanks to all the members and moderators of this message board for this valuable research tool!
