Hi, I have used HOTWIRE a couple times, but totally new to PRICELINE. I am planning a trip to NYC for late October, and wondering if I should start bidding on PRICELINE now, at the last minute or sometime in between. Does the timing of bidding make a big difference? Also, is $199 a good starting price to bid for a room at a 4* Midtown/Time Square hotel? Thanks, Michael
