Thanks I just went for it and got the Crowne Plaza SFO a very nice hotel for $74.00 a night and I am covering the Presidents cup Golf Tournament as a freelance photographer and that hotel is as close as it gets for 1/2 the price that everyone else is paying. I am even closer than anyone else. Great price for a 4 star in my opinion. I love Crowne Hotels.

how is it that a 3.5 star is cheaper than a 2.5 star in the airport area in SF? How the heck am I supposed to know what I am getting? Also there are 2 hotels that are the same star level in the same area the are 2 differnt prices. I am new to HOTWIRE. HELP!!!!

10/10 and 10/11 are the weekend dates of the Presidents Cup in San Francisco. The second biggest Golf Tournament of the year and every superstar will be there and tons of celebrities will be in town. I would take a regular price hotel if you dont get something soon.
