I replied to last year's thread. What do you mean by bump?

I ended up moving hotels four times during the stay, which was a nightmare, but I pulled it off for a combination of rates between $70 and $130.

Any suggestions? I am trying to get a downtown hotel (so I can walk to my work), preferable 3 1/2+, for under $100. Thanks!

I am only bidding in Downtown Toronto (Priceline), as I need to be able to walk to as many TIFF sites as possible. I did although utilize the rebidding by including other zones that do not have 4* so I could creep up my price in the same day. I have also tried splitting on the 4*, trying 10-17th and 10-18th, both as high as $84 (which is much more than I was initially hoping for). I have not tries splitting my bid on the 3 1/2* yet.

I've already tried up to 84 on a 4*, and 70 on a 3 1/2*. Any advice? I don't mind splitting. Thanks!
