  1. I just saw on HOTWIRE a 4* hotel in Notting Hill Bayswater for $106 a night. I believe its the Hilton Metropole. this area was not in my original list however reading the reviews it seems its pretty close to Oxford Street and Picadilly. Can anyone please confirm if this is true.
  2. None of the offers have been accepted. I want to remove the Knightsbridge area and add the Marble Arch area as I heard that's better. Anyone have a good strategy to get a 4* @ around $110 in Mayfair or Knightsbridge for checkin 09/15 checkout 09/23. I saw another thread that stated that they have a holiday inn 4* for around $95 in the Marble Arch area and that would be perfect. Any help on bidding strategy. I would like to limit myself to these 2 areas as much as possible. Pls help.
  3. Yes I am looking for a bidding strategy within that range. I don't mind going a to $105 but i would not want to go above that. Pls help.
  4. Hi, I do not remember the bids for sure but i started around $75 and than went upto $95 but for different zones and i chose 5 start and 4 start hotels. Pls help with bidding strategy.
  5. Hi, ideally i would like to get 2 rooms. Can I get a bidding strategy for those areas. I tried an initial bid but did not follow any particular strategy hence I believe that's the reason I didn't get a successful bid. Pls help with bidding strategy. There are a total of 4 people in our group. Can I book 1 room under 1 name and the 2nd room under another name but pay for both using the same card. Tx
  6. Hi, the reason i chose those zones are because i have been told that those areas are very close and central to all the attractions and the trains are very close as well (Would like to be in walking distance of all attractions). I would really like to keep it to those zones. If its not possible than could someone recommend another zone which is close to mayfair or knightsbridge and very very close to the trains as well so commuting is not an issue. Thx
  7. Hi, I am looking to get a 4* or 5* hotel in London (Mayfair or Knightsbridge area ) between 15th Sep and 23d Sep for 8 nights. Operating on a shoestring budget and might book 2 rooms depending on price($80 to $105). Is it possible to get a bidding strategy and a estimate. This is my first time using PRICELINE. thanks On a separate note what PRICELINE areas are good to stay in London( am not at all familiar with London). Looking to get something very close to major attractions but a must have is a location that is central and very very close to train stop.
