  1. Hi, I was betting hoping to get Quarters Club (I like it) for tonight, so I went directly for 3.5 stars and Millenium Area, first bet of 55 dollars was accepted. They upgraded the bet to 4 stars for the Hyatt Regency. Just one night. Used Betterbidding PRICELINE link :) Thanks for keeping this site up :)
  2. Hi! 1. $50 rejected 2. $55, was offered to increase bid by $15, didn't 3. $65 (I guess I wanted to bid 60, but got confused :). Accepted.
  3. Hi! Just wondering if there was any difference, one of them managed the worst rooms or something :). The phone number given by Priceline was different and I've seen that they have different entries in some travel websites. Also, anyone knows if rooms have always queen beds or two full beds? Is there anything I should request calling the hotel? Thanks!
  4. Hi! Went directly for 3 stars (see previous post), Made an offer for $46 and was offered to make another bid if I increased 15 dlollars. Didn't. Next day another offer for 50 and was also offered to make another one for 15 dollars more. Didn't. Made another offer for 55. Rejected. Made another for 60, was offered to increase bid by 15 dollars, didn't. Last offer at $65 dollars was accepted.
  5. Hi, First bid accepted when bidding for a 3* at Loop are, $50. I went for 3* directly because I wanted to get 2 rooms in the same hotel for different star and end dates and thought that 3* was a safe bet for that. In fact, I got the other room for $65 (see following post) at Club Quarters.
  6. >Check my post on a hotel i got via Priceline. Yes, I read it before posting, but I don't know how likely is that you get a hotel that is somewhere far way from a bus stop or train station, or that I have to make long transfers...
  7. Hi! I want to use NJ as base station to visit NY, but I am worried about using Priceline and ending somewhere with bad connection no Manhattan. (I will not be driving) Any help? My budget is up to $85 for Priceline (I've seen rooms for $120 at Expedia in hotels well connected and with good reviews). Thanks! :)
