The hotels list for the Puerto Rico and other Caribbean islands is showing very incomplete regarding the previous format. Several newly reported hotels are not included in the list yet. Some regions are not showing either. Many of these properties were reported weeks ago. Why is that? Why not having all the updated information? By the way, i like the new format. It will be better once ALL the previous reported properties be included in the list.

Booked this hotel for my next trip to NY. Amenities listed are: Free Breakfast Free Internet Fitness Center Business Center High-Speed Internet Access In-room accessibility Right next to the subway station and directly to Manhattan. Rate for similar stay was listed at $164. My total came to US$1,031 for a 7 nights stay. I didn't see this property in the Hotwire NY hotel list.

In both situations i was refunded by Hotwire. They could not get the hotel to confirm the reservations. Sad.

It happened to me twice, thus i decided to let other travelers know about this painful situation. I booked a 4 star hotel in Punta Cana with amenities listed in a previous post. Hotel i got was Now Larimar Punta Cana. Hotel refused to honor the rate and booked me into sister property NH Punta Cana, a 3.5 star hotel with different amenities that those listed in the hot rate offering. After 10 days, i decided to book another 4 star all inclusive hotel in PC (reported in a previous post). Amenities were different and the rate for 2 adults was 3X (times) higher than the previous booking. Hotwire ended up booking me at the same Now Larimar Punta Cana property, and they AGAIN refused to honor the reservation and bumped it to the sister NH PC property. Hotwire and the hotel have communication and rate issues one another. If you end up with the Now Larimar as your confirmed hot rate hotel, i suggest you call the hotel after 24 hours and CONFIRM if the issue between them and Hotwire has been resolved, because if not, the hotel will bump you to the NH. Now Larimar is a 4 star All Inclusive Resort and the NH Punta Cana is a 3.5 star city hotel. One is next to the other. NH does not have a Casino, is not a Resort and is not Near Beach. BEWARE!!

To respond to your first question, NO, it did not have any all inclusive like amenities as the one you listed, but it did list All Inclusive as one of the amenities. To respond to your second question, YES, the hotel list has been updated sucessfully. I would recommend any customer who gets the Now Larimar Punta Cana to reconfirm their reservation after 24 hours of getting it on Hotwire, just to avoid any issue of miscommunication between the hotel and Hotwire.

I booked 3 rooms for 6 adults at the reflected rate. Previously Hotwire revealed this hotel at the wrong rate and corrected it to be the NH Punta Cana. Total for 3 nights for 3 rooms with 6 adults came to US$1,717. Apparently, this confirmation will be honored since this is the correct rate for an All Inclusive Property. It is a great deal and i am looking forward to enjoy a last minute spring break in PC with my friends and family. Will keep you posted on how everything turns out. As a follow up to this hotel win, the Now Larimar and the NH Punta Cana are sister properties. By mistake, Hotwire revealed to me that the hotel with the listed amenities would be Now Larimar, but it turns out that this is an All Inclusive hotel, thus the hotel declined to honor the reservation at such a low rate. Later, Hotwire fixed the reservation and revealed that the listed amenities would be that of the NH Punta Cana and the correct star rating is 3.5 stars. So, for the Hotwire hotel list, please rename this win for the NHPC. I made another opaque reservation and with other listed amenities and got the Now Larimar Punta Cana. I will be creating a new post for that hotel win. Please make all the corrections. Thanks!

In the Hotwire Hotel List for Punta Cana you say none of the amenities were supplied by the user. In this post i listed all of the amenities Hotwire posted in the purchase. Also, please correct in the Hotel List the Puerto Plata section. It is a city in the northern part of the Dominican Republic. You have it listed like if it was another Caribbean section. Thanks!
