  1. I found the Westin Waterfront at advance purchase of 209.
  2. Tonight I tried 4-star Beacon, Quincy, Boston Commons, and Copley between 90-110 with no luck.
  3. Thank you. I guess I would therefore rule-out the Waterfront area.
  4. I ended up booking directly with Hilton for a special $50 rate as part of friends/family MVP promotion. Was too good to pass up.
  5. Hi, there. Hoping for a 4-star in the following areas August 14-17, ideally 100-120 tops. I can get Westin Waterfront confirmed for $210 on Starwood's website: Beacon Hill Boston Commons Copley Harbor Quincy Waterfront I don't know Boston that well (just want something safe and near public transport to get to airport and around on the T) so maybe I need to rule out one/more of these zones. Thanks!
  6. Yes, I would prefer to not get much above this rate, as I have confirmed and amazing rates for these dates at the airport hotel. Obviously I'd like something much more central. Maybe 110. Palomar has a rate of $180 but most of the others I have checked are in the 200s or 300s.
  7. I'm hoping to stay around $100, not including tax, for the following three regions between Christmas and New Years. Any possibility? I tried 80, 85, 95, and 100 by adding one region at a time and even changing dates once, with no luck.
  8. Thanks. Yes, I've been to NY a few times. After reading some of the possible hotel reviews, it seems like I could try to start at a 4 but go down to a 3.5 or even a 3 in the TS area and still feel okay with the quality, and I can also consider MTW (though, again, the walkability to the Marquis is important to me). However, I just thought of a wrinkle: I'll be sharing the hotel room with a friend, and for reimbursement purposes we'd need to split the cost in half and demonstrate separate receipts. But, this isn't possible with priceline, obviously, since I'd need to pay the full amount in advance. Is there a way to get around this, or have other users done so, perhaps through getting a refund for half at the hotel and having my friend pay for that second half?
  9. It's at the Marriott Marquis, and I'm often out quite late at nights, but, given that it is NY, I may be out to other places with friends and be needing to get back from elsewhere anyway. So (I should know this) but what about nearby locations? Midtown West?
  10. I'd like to stay in this zone, because the conference I'm attending is here. Maybe I could try for 3.5? Or increase the bid a little? I'll take a look at your post and read some reviews of the other hotels.
  11. Seeking any bidding suggestions for Times Square November 19-22. I'd ideally love to get around $150, including taxes, for a 4 star, but this all probably isn't possible ...
