Of course, my black lab is double the limit but by calling the property directly, I learned that larger dogs are allowed without fees/deposits as long as the dog is well behaved. We are travelling to Maui, HI in early March 2010. We wanted to stay at Hyatt Regency in Ka'anapali area after reading all the reviews so tried to win a PRICELINE bid for the last few days. Started with $96 and ended up after 4 bids at $136. Is it difficult for us to win at a 7 night stay? If so, would you recommend breaking up the stay to 4 nights at one property and 3 nights another? If we want to maximize the savings, do we stay Wed - Sun at Ka'anapali then stay Sun- Wed at Waleia area? Or vice versa. Any advice would be helpful. For Waleia, we are targeting Marriott there. Marriot has a $25/day resort fee while Hyatt in Ka'anapali has $15 resort fee/day which effectively makes Marriot bid $10 more expensive than what you win in the end per day.
