Hi, Just won the Westin for $60/night plus applicable fees and taxes. February is low season in Halifax, but as our stay falls during the 2011 Canada Winter Games, I wasn't too sure what to expect...I'm pretty happy with the price I paid! I was able to get the hotel on my 5th try. Previous attempts were $50, $55, $58 (added a new zone every time as there are only 4* hotels in the downtown area anyway), $58 again 2 days later -ran out of zones to add. Note: I didn't try the airport zone- and $60 (final and winning bid). Below is the summary of my invoice: Summary of Charges Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $60.00 (USD) Apply for our new priceline rewards Visa card today. The staff was very helpful and if the lobster feast is on at the restaurant in the lobby, you MUST have it at least once. $45 for seafood chowder, a whole lobster + desert. MMM :) Thanks Betterbidding!
