  1. I think it was for the Roosevelt in Hollywood. However I'm not sure why but the actual hotel sites dropped their prices quite a bit. So after trying to bid on the 4* hotels at a max of 178 I was turned down. I did get a deal on the Loews Hollywood website, which this morning said no availability for my dates. Makes no sense but I took it using my AAA coupon for 225 and will include parking. It was not the best deal money wise but my wife is happy and that's what counts.
  2. We will be arriving in LA 9/2 and leaving 9/4. So it's just two nights.
  3. I have been looking at the Redbury, Loews, and Roosevelt. I really do not want the "W". I think these are the only 4 * hotels listed in Hollywood. Hotwire has a 4 * listed for 199 regular price they say is 289. it goes on to list: free internet, pet friendly, pool, restaurant, fitness center, business center, smoke free, accessible for blind Trip Advisor rating of 4 out of 5 Hotwire Rating 95% of 34 reviews
  4. I started bidding PRICELINE at $69,$79 & $89. No Luck Tried $99, 105, 110.... later bid again at 119, 125. 131. No luck Ultimately bid $139, 141 and finally got it at 145. I could have at any time accepted $169 was PRICELINE and HOTWIRE fixed rate.
  5. I just got back from the Hilton on 9/6 paid $81. It's a great hotel and you can use the subway to get downtown. A cab to the North End will cost you $16
  6. 4* Boston (logan airport) Hilton, $81 ... 9/5 leaving for airport now
  7. 4* Boston (Quincy Market-Faneuil Hall-Financial) Omni Parker House, $111 ... 9/1, 9/2, 9/3
  8. Finally, PRICELINE has accepted a bid for the 4* Boston (Quincy Market-Faneuil Hall-Financial) Omni Boston Parker House for $111 per night (staying 3 nights). Seems like an avg. price for 4 stars trip advisor has the regular price at $159 and these are supposed to be very small rooms it is a GREAT location. I will let you know when my trip is over how well the Omni room was. I did change my stay from 5 nights to 3.
  9. yes all bids were August not Sept. my mistake I am still bidding and I am now up to $105 for a 4 star and $85 for a 3.5 star. I am visiting someone in the baracks over by Commercial Street so I have been looking at the Quincy Market and Harbor Front location. I think the Copley Square may be out of the way.
  10. I am looking for a Hotel in Quincy Market, Boston mostly 4 stars and have gone from $64 to $100 all Rejected.
