  1. Sure, here are the amenities advertised in the initial hotwire listing: free breakfast, free internet, fitness center, pool, business center, self service laundry, internet access
  2. the other Hampton inn in the garden district was charging $150 a night and had no availability for the 3rd night of our stay on the 25th, so this worked out well. does anyone know if I can expect to receive an offer to extend my stay at this Hampton inn convention center for the 2 nights prior to the 25th? that might be more convenient than changing hotels Christmas day. thanks!
  3. sorry for the extended delay in responding to the other thread. I've already booked a room through hotwire and will start a separate thread to list out the details. I think I got a good deal. thanks.
  4. Sorry for the extended delay in responding. We ended up just booking a room directly through a hotel because it turned out we needed the ability to cancel short notice as our plans were pretty volatile.
  5. I am trying to use hotwire to book a hotel room in the Garden District zone in New Orleans over the holidays but the hotel list seems to be incomplete. Does anyone have any sense how many hotels in the Garden District tend to accept hotwire bids and which those might be? Thanks!
  6. I have a quick question about priceline's grand rapids' zones. i'd like to bid in the main, downtown location that is most central to all the bars and restaurants and all that, but on better bidding i only see the north, south, southeast, and grandville zones. i don't see any information regarding the main Grand Rapids zone that i can bid on in priceline. Does anyone have any information on this about which hotels participate in this downtown zone? Thanks!
  7. thanks! i'm loving the fact that the Omni is charging over $200 on their website for that same night!
  8. 4* Richmond (downtown)Omni for $76 a night on 12/6 to 12/7. I made several bids trying different dates (12/4, 12/5, 12/6, and 12/13) and adding Richmond South and Chester to increase my number of possible bids. I started at $65 and kept going up until my $76 bid was accepted.
  9. I just got the Westin Rittenhouse, a four star hotel in philadelphia, for $80 a night, 12/18-12/19. I first bid $75 and was rejected, so I added Cherry Hill to my search for a four star hotel and got the Westin on my second bid.
  10. I am trying to find a 4 star hotel in the French Quarter or Downtown zones over Halloween but have been having trouble since it's such a busy weekend. I wanted to expand the number of bids I could make by adding other zones, but I'm not sure how up to date the hotel list is for NOLA. Is anyone pretty sure that there are no 4 star hotels in the airport zone? and i didn't see any hotels listed in the Garden District. Are there any 4 star hotels there? thanks for your help!
  11. Thanks for replying to my post, and for the link. Unfortunately it doesn't look like the list includes any hotels in the Garden Disctrict - only several of the other zones Priceline has set up in New Orleans. Any other suggestions? Thanks!
  12. It looks like Priceline only has two and 1/2 star hotels and under in the Garden District. Does anyone have any idea which hotels this might include? Thanks!
