Earlier last week, I could get a room for a mere $310 or some such obscene amount. Thanks to Betterbidding for steering me to a $150/nt savings.
Haven't used Hotwire in a while, so haven't posted for some time. Booked 4* Dupont Circle for $169 = Palomar. Amenities: Boutique Hotel Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Forum posted info was accurate and I was confident I would get the Palomar, which is within a block of where I was meeting. :)

I booked the hotel using the SavingsBarn.com link to HOTWIRE. The hotel did turn out to be the Sheraton Crystal City, just as I had hoped. Saved $190 over Expedia. Thanks!!! Dan
