I went onto hotwire today and got the hyatt orange county...dates r sept 2-sept 3rd :] $146
Last night I bid for a 3.5 hotel in the disneyland-garden grove area..was denied..tonight i tried again.I bid several times, i forgot the numbers, but i started from about 45$. i started w/ disneyland area and used the 4 re bid zones...i then reopened PRICELINE (through betterbidding link) and started with disneyland-garden grove.. I bid $49 and was offered to up the price to 59, i declined. I then bid 52 then 55 then 59 and was accepted for 59$. Never stayed at this location. Should be nice...:]

Wanted to stay near Seaworld/San Diego zoo since I will be going there the next morning. This location is about 3 and 6 miles away from the parks which is great. I think there might be a shuttle going to the zoo but not to seaworld. I have to call to confirm. Self parking fee of 22, or valet for 28. OW!!!!! From the hotel pics on their site, this place looks neat. Rooms also has balconies overlooking the beach ports which is pretty neat.
I have been bidding for about 3 days now for an area in downtown-Harbor Island, closest to the parks I am visiting. My highest bid was $80 for a 4 * hotel and was denied each time. I then tried for a 3 1/2 last night. Highest was around $75. Tonight I tried for a 4 *, and 3 1/2. was denied. So I tried for a 3 star. First bid was 40,then i got a counter offer to raise my rate up to 52 (add on 12$) i denied it and kept trying. I then got to $47 and it was accepted for Holiday Inn On the Bay.

I orginally wanted to stay near Universal Studios in Hollywood, however after 3 days of bad luck, and after viewing the board and seeing someone received Hyatt Huntington Beach (that hotel is awesome) I decided to try my luck and bid for Newport Beach/Huntington Beach area. My first bid for a 4 * received a winning bid of $60. Doesn't look to bad, but after viewing tripadvisor.com, i saw several negative reviews. Just crossing my fingers lol Oh and the parking is $19 self parking, and valet is $27 OW!
