  1. How did you make the determination that the Hyatt was available at that price?
  2. Will try for 4* first then go down to 3.5* if it can't be done within the budget. How much would you estimate the 4* should go for around that time? Any idea of hotel possibilities?
  3. Goal is least expensive for one night.... but willing to go $125 for 4* or better in the USE/USW area.
  4. Plans changed so I was never able to confirm if Omni was the hotel listed.
  5. Looking for guidance on these areas: USE, USW, FD, for 10/29. Would be using Bart from SFO. Budget about $100 and looking for 3.5 or above. Any suggestions or ideas of what is available at this time would be appreciated.
  6. Stayed Sept 2009 for my very first Priceline stay. Hotel check in was smooth and I was given an upgrade according to the lady at check in. Our room was on the 28th floor and did not have a water view but did have a nice view of the city. We were placed in the north tower and had a wonderful stay. The room was clean and comfortable and had no obvious stains or broken items. Lcd TV with nice number of stations. Saw the enlosed pool but did not use it. Close to Pike's Market and the Monorail is across the street. Hotel has a lounge, restaurant, and workout facilities. Overall the appearance of the hotel was nice and clean without any obvious neglect. Close to bus depot (2-3 blocks) for transit to and from SeaTac. The only mention or hint of the Priceline connection was when I confirmed the reservation by phone a few days before check in and when I checked out. They said it was booked and paid through Priceline. Would stay here again if the opportunity arose. I did notice what appeared to be government employees checking in at the same time and flashed their badges. They rode up the elevator with us and were on the 13th floor.
  7. Jan 1 for 1 night downtown for $69. very familiar with NOLA. Trying to determine which hotel is 3.5 out of 5 TripAdvisor with fitness and business center with internet access. Any help greatly appreciated.
  8. Ended up with the Westin for $80 on my first PRICELINE experience. Started at $65 for 4* and added zones until accepted. Thanks for the help.
  9. Thanks for the help. I'm learning a lot. What was it that gave you the idea that the Westin was on Hotwire? Comparing the amenities? DO the Tripadvisor reviews give you some insight?
  10. Appreciate the patience. Still learning. I would add Seattle Center-Space Needle, Seattle Airport, Lake Union, Bothel and Lynnwood. None of these have 3.5* or higher.
  11. Seattle Center-Space Needle is the second zone I would consider since it does not have any hotels higher than the 3* category. No 3.5 or 4* in that zone. Start with downtown and have Seattle Center-Space Needle as second option.
  12. Willing to Stay at any of the 4* I've seen reported here in both zones. But the Downtown area would be better location. Seattle Center would not be a problem.
  13. Second bid zone would be Seattle Center-Space Needle. All suggestions are really appreciated.
  14. WIll be in Seattle one night September 2 and will be leaving on the Clipper in the morning of the 3rd. Reviewed the calender and would like to get either the Westin, Sheraton or similar but since I have never used either Hotwire or Priceline bidding I seek the sage advice of this board. I know I need the Downtown area and should ask for the 4 star level. ANy other suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Looking to pay less than $100 as I see Westin at $65 for 2 bidders on my date and one day before or after. 2 adults.
