We were interested in the Hyatt because of their kids program but we might have to look elsewhere, our weak Aussie dollar makes it tough at the moment. $400 per night is probably our max. Do you know if anyone has got the Grand Hyatt at a good price lately?

Interested in a 3* Central Waikiki area Hotel from 07/30 - 08/03 for $84 per night. Amenities are: Boutique Hotel Near Beach Complimentary Breakfast Pool(s) Laundry Facilities High-speed Internet Access I'm hoping this is the Aqua Bamboo but I'm thinking its the Aqua Aloha Surf. The Hotwire hotels thread mentions the Aqua Bamboo has this amenity combo but I have'nt seen anyone get that hotel in a search I just performed. Thankyou.

BTW I'm trying for roughly the same dates and I've had no luck either, maybe its too far away yet.

I'm just wondering if anyone has pinned down the best time to bid for accomodation, cars etc with Priceline/Hotwire. We are going to Hawaii in July and hope to score some bargain prices in the next few months. I have heard that 3-4 weeks out is the go, any opinions?
