  1. Due to lack of time, I went with the 4.5 star for $150 deal on hotwire, used the HOTWIRE link from here. It was The Waldorf Astoria New York, very happy with the result.
  2. hello, Im looking for a last min stay in NYC for sat 8/8/15, location doesn't really matter,midtown is fine. willing to pay up to $180 for 4.5-5 star, but hope for the $150 range for a 4 star. since its less than 48 hours away, am I better off with priceline or hotwire? I did find a $144 midtown central on hotwire, not sure what hotel that would be. I don't want the Roosevelt or the UN hotel is too far. thanks for your help

  4. started from $90, re-bid 6 times, finally got it at $111 for the Inter-Continental resort~~!! pretty happy with the price, but been reading very mixed reviews from tripadviser though.... anyone stayed here before? Details of the trip, 5/22-5/25 2010 3 nights, $111
  5. I'm looking to get a hotel in San Juan, I would perfer the resorts. This is my first trip to puerto rico, I'm a little confused about the locations, there are 8 different locations on priceline, looks like #8 is the area I want to be, and all the 4 stars and resorts are in there. So how do I go about bidding and re-bidding? I want to spent around $100-120. thanks

  8. Hello, I need some help on bidding for a 4* hotel in Union square. I would prefer USE, the hyatt or westin is fine. my max bid is 100-105. Anychance I can get a hotel in USE for that price? I know USW is cheaper, if I can't get it for %105, I guess I will try for the USW for 70. Any strategies? thanks
  9. Hello, I'm looking to rent a minivan during MLK weekend in Denver. Jan 15-20. Not sure what price to start with, put in 50-65, a notice popped up saying it's too low. Jan is Ski season, so the price is higher? Is it too early to book right now? thanks

Winning bid was $135 for Marriott Rive Gauche in Latin Quarter, seems a little out of the way, but happy to have a place with nice comfy beds. used the PRICELINE link to bid. was really looking for something in Champs Elysees, oh well..... thanks for your help. now it's time to find something in Rome
  12. Hello, Need some help on getting a 4* hotel in Paris, sept 13 to 17th. I tried to bid for champs elysees area for 115, didn't work, going to try again tomorrow. I guess I wouldn't mind Latin quarter or opear quater east either. max price is 140. Also looking for 4* in Rome central from sept 17 to 21st. Max price is around 150-160. thanks
