Through the link on this site I have bid on Boston Common, Copley Square and Theatre District. Using the rebid strategy I placed several bids for a 4* beginning at $100 and ending at $128 with no success. Areas 5, 9, 10, 11 and 14 have no 4* hotels so I placed several bids in small increments. I will look over Hotwire and if nothing is there I will rebid tomorrow possibly lowering my star rating. If anyone has an idea where I would be successful for a 4* I would appreciate the information.
3 and a half stars. $141 March 8-11 Boston Common area, ammenities are smoke free rooms, business center, fitness center, High speed internet, restaurant, tennis nearby I searched for one room 2 adults, one child.
Using your link to PRICELINE I started bidding Orlando East at $40.00. I used two rebid zones (Winter Park and Kissimmee) to bid 3* in the area I wanted. I got the Radisson for $56.00 a night. The posted rate is $78.00 for the selected nights. It is move in weekend at the university so rates at the Marriott were around $100 per night using the college special.
Using your PRICELINE link I have been bidding for Chicago (Deerfield). I finally won the Marriott Suites in Deerfield for $56.00. Having stayed there before I can tell you it is a great deal for this property. Since we will be three people in a room I decided not to bid 4* North Shore. I have been lucky in Deerfield previously with getting suite hotels at the 31/2* level (Embassy and Hyatt).

I have decided to take a deal with included parking. The rest of my party booked through HOTWIRE and now have to pay $48 per night parking. I found a deal at their hotel with parking included for $20 more than they are paying er night so I am going to go with it. It also guarantees me two beds and no smoking which I need since I am traveling with a friend.
Thanks for the info. New today on HOTWIRE- Mag. mile area, no smoking, pool, fitness, rest., internet and bus. ctr. 4* $109. 90% in reviews. Any help with id is appreciated.
I just read your post to another topic and wonder if the Palomar or Amalfi would be good for my Sept. dates (9/4-9/8)? I need two beds and a great safe location. Having grown up in Chicago I am looking forward to spending a few nights in the city, something I could rarely do when visiting family in the burbs on my previous trips. I have family staying at The Whitehall at the same time I am in town so I want to be walking distance to them.

I booked the 4* through your link to HOTWIRE and got The Warwick for $189. Thanks for all of your help. After using PL many times I learned about rebids from you. Even though it did not help this trip thanks for the knowledge.
