  1. I didn't realize it copied all of that =). Hope it helps someone in the future. I am happy with the price for the hotel :) so it worked out fine.
  2. Just wanted to update you guys. I just won a bid for a 4.5* hotel in Midtown East that I thought would be the Omni Berkshire by the list of amenities listed under the hotel list here. Just wanted to update you guys - The Palace Hotel had the same longer list of amenities which I believe might be a new addition. Just wanted to let you guys know! 3. I booked the Doubletree Downtown for 61.00. It came to 77.20 with fees and taxes altogether and an additional 16.00 for parking. I booked for 6/25 - 6/26. I was really excited to get this hotel because I saw I could have potentially got the Crowne Plaza Downtown which I didn't want to stay at, at all. I had called this hotel and the best rate they could give me even with AAA was 109 plus tax and parking. What tipped me off was that the listings weren't identical. This facility had laundry listed which I believe wasn't listed for the Crowne Plaza. Big thanks to this site for all the helpful info in your listings! I had my breath held and fingers crossed when I pushed "buy now", but it all worked out wonderfully! Now, I need to get to bed since I booked for tonight and I'm still up packing, LOL! :)
  4. Thanks Aaron! Ideally I'd like to get accommodations for Sep 25-27, October 2-4, or October 9-11 I'd love to be able to keep it 150 ( per night) or under, but I'm not sure that's possible for a 4 star :)
  5. Hi guys, I'm new to this and I've been reading around the site, but I'm still confused about how the whole bidding process works. I'm looking to get a 4 star hotel in Boston -- really any area *in* Boston would be fine. All the hotels are pretty pricey for the dates I want to visit - I'm flexible anytime late September through mid October. I'm just unsure what to start my bid off at I guess. Sorry if this is a very random post, I've just never done this before so I'd love any advice. Thanks!!
