  1. Had a great stay and the 8E buffet is worth the stay. Had some trouble with the bus from the airport. The bus driver made me get off at Avenue America's and enter the maze of the underground METRO. At the airport, ask bus 101 or 200* if they go to Canillejas. Only get on the bus if they say YES. It is a 10 min bus ride or 1 hour on the subway metro! What an adventure.

  4. Hi I was bidding for a one night stay in NYC May 12-13, 2010. I started bidding $130 over several days by focusing on the central park, upper west, midtown west and times sq quadrants. Today my bid of $190 was accepted for the Warwick 4* hotel. They offered me the option of a second night and the rate jumped to $215. I decided for convenience to pay the extra to stay the second night. NYC in springtime is beautiful. Total with taxes for the two nights staying at the beautiful Warwick via Betterbidding link to PRICELINE $499.75! Any suggestions for a 4 hour bus tour to see NYC highlights. I am going for the opera. Thanks better bidding and I hope this information helps others. D

  6. Thanks for posting your bid - how do I do that? I just bid through this PRICELINE link for the 4star Toronto Airport Bid $43, $45, and $47 was accepted. Sheraton Gateway Toronto Intl August 23 -24, 2009 $47 $13.65 Taxes and Service Fees $60.65 US Total (~ $67.50 CDN) Found a park and fly coupon online for up to 28 day stay for $73.17 at WWW.parknfly.ca. 7. Wheee No LUCK yet in Seattle. What fun Thanks for the suggestions. I made a graph and followed it closely. Rebid all date combinations from $65 to $85 and 2 bids at $90 before I ran out of bids. Tried a few 3 and 2 day stays and were rejected. Gurrrr I still can't believe they are not being accepted given the wins on the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins. Any further suggestions appreciated. Do the hotwire deals change daily, hourly, should I keep an eye on that site as well. It seems higher. Will start at $90 tomorrow and follow the same pattern. Really reluctant to drop to 31/2* as there are too many options. Thanks Still having fun. Love saving money.... if only you could get me a deal on the Seattle Opera RIng Tickets!
  8. Thanks for your quick reply When I see 4 star hotels going for $65 and my bid of $90 is not excepted, YES I would change hotels to save $25 a night. I could switch 5/3 or 6/2 or any combination. Any suggestions? Went to the auto club today to see if they could find a deal Thanks
  9. HI I have tried increasing my bid for a Seattle hotel 4 star for 8 nights in Pike Place. August 24 - Sept 1, 2009. :) It is not accepting a bid of $90 a night. I see bids have been accepted at $65-$95 Should I break my 8 night stay into 2 - 4 night stays? It would be OK if I HAD to change hotels midweek. Thanks for your suggestions. D
  10. We are now staying 3 nights at that price of $39.00! July 31 - August 3, 2009 Thanks again better bidding.... looking at Paris, France now! :)
  11. I was low bidding on priceline and they sent me a notice to my email account that they had offered this rate to another customer. I bid and won. The hotel was friendly, clean and close to the airport/Walden Galleria shopping. I would remind people that there are two Holiday Inns at the airport. This one was the regular one with a beautiful outdoor pool and restaurant. The other one is a PRICELINE EXPRESS Holiday Inn - which I mistakenly went to first.
  12. I didn't expect to get a 3+* hotel for $39! I went to the Priceline area from this PRICELINE link. I guess I need a vacation. Thank you better bidding :)
