You were correct on that being the Ramada Plaza...another friend of mine booked that for himself. Also, I ended up booking a 4 star in Downtown St Louis for $70. Hilton at the Ballpark Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access

Didn't know if I should start a new topic or continue with this one... My friend ended up getting a room through Expedia. I guess he had originally booked his room through Expedia, but the hotel got overbooked so his reservations got booted, which is why I was helping him look for something else on Hotwire. Anyway, Expedia called him with another hotel in the area and let him have it at the same price. I'm now heading up to St. Louis a day earlier and need to book something...I can't afford to book at the Four Seasons where we're getting free rooms Friday and Saturday. Hotwire has the following hotel. (I used the HOTWIRE link to do my search). Sorry, didn't even think to update that one since I didn't make the purchase on Hotwire...but I can see where people would like to know the outcome. Done. I'm staying at the Four Seasons in Downtown St. Louis. Same family friend gambles too much and was able to get me free rooms there.My friend is looking for something around $100 and nice. Nothing like that in Downtown St. Louis for those dates. He thought Forest Park seemed like a good option. My friend will be booking the 2 rooms. I was going to direct him to this thread if I found an answer. Will do!

This is the only 2 1/2 star in Goodland Total for 2 rooms taxes and fees: $208.90 Initially Hotwire had this "unknown" hotel at $89, but it had gone up to $99 by the time I put in my $89 offer on Priceline. Failed offers: $51, $60, $70, $80

Ended up booking 9/16/11 - 9/18/11 for $56 per night and it was the Hyatt Place Kansas City/Overland Park/Convention Center. This is an excellent hotel. I've taken my family here before, great for kids with the large suites and pool.
