July 25- July 28. $112/night. La Posada was incredible. The rooms are all unique, since the hotel acquired various properties that were built throughout the last couple of centuries. The lobby is gorgeous-- it's a living art gallery. Best margaritas we ever had at the lobby bar. And they had an amazing band one of the nights of our stay. Spa was beautiful and really nice that you can use the facilities for free. Location is perfect. It's super close to the plaza but in a really pretty quasi residential neighborhood. Also prime location for walking to Canyon Road gallery district.

So glad to hear this. I just won La Posada (for $112/night) for later this month. I was nervous reading the various reviews, which make it sound like there are some really tiny dumpy rooms on the property, that I would guess most often go to the lowest paying guests.

Yes. First, let me start be saying that I DID use the links on your site to get to HOTWIRE to make my purchase. Sorry I did not mention that. I paid 112 per night before taxes. The amenities listed for Homewood Suites were: Suite, Complimentary Breakfast, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Business Center, High-speed Internet Access, Kitchenette

I ended up booking a 3* which, while more money than the 4 star, was designated as having a pool and being a suite. I was pretty sure before I booked that it was the Hilton Homewood Suites (which seems to be well regarded) and I was right!

We have 2 adults and 1 child who fits within the HOTWIRE definition of children (ages 2+). I don't mind spending the 159 if the hotel is much nicer than the others. I think the prices on these have changed since yesterday, though it's pretty obvious that the hotels are still the same.
