I've been toying around with this tonight for hotels and a car for our trip to PHL in a week. I originally put in a 12.00 bid for a premium, a total low-ball offer, and it was rejected. It then directed me to the change options screen and told me I could re-bid if I changed something. I changed the vehicle class from premium to luxury and upped the bid to 14.00 to see if I got any nibbles...Shatner comes up on my screen telling me he's working hard to negotiate and then I am sent to the page that shows all rental car companies and their weekly rates with a message in red at the top telling me to choose my company and car to reserve my reservation and no payment is due until pick up. Now, my card has not been charged....but why the re-direct to this page?

Yo! Once again BB.com comes through! My original bid was a $45 dollar shot in the dark, and was obviously rejected. I then re-bid by selecting the City Line region (since there are currently no 4* places there) and re-bid at $55. It was rejected but with the notice that if I bid $15 more at that moment I would be approved. So I re-bid at $70 bucks and it was accepted. This is the exact place that we wanted.

Yo! I'm so glad I have found this site...I wanted to share that I booked this rate last week after I found this website (and I used the PRICELINE links provided by moderators in the posts). The hotel was very nice and they gladly changed my reservation from king smoking to king non-smoking when I called to confirm the reservation. I am now searching for deals on PRICELINE for a hotel in Philly as well as rental cars.
